With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I seriously loved this place theBright energy drinks and coffee are amazing!! It beat all the other coffee shops for me! Unfortunately for the past 3 days they have been closed before closing.. I seriously understand 5 minutes before closing but almost 20 minutes is crazy y’all, I need my fix before gym!

Nik is easily one of the best and creative baristas I’ve met! I was looking to try something different and she made a Mexi cold brew with a peppermint twist. The flavors were well balanced, with subtle complexities from the brown sugar/cinnamon. Excellent Customer service. Can’t wait to visit again ☀️

My fur baby passed on Saturday. I went to get coffee today, monday, I totally lost it crying. The girl that helped me was awesome. I got an empty pup cup with bones. My baby loved the pup cups. I made her a forever cup for my shadow box. Thank you at human bean. You’re awesome .

Nik was a huge help with great service for first time Human Beans. Super friendly and great service. The Caramel Granita was an amazingly rich coffee “slurpee”. Only here two days and may need to stop back in for one for the road.
