I cannot recommend The Hum enough! If you enjoyed Frosthaus, it is a nice blend of what Frosthaus offered, complete with more food and elevated beverage options!
I was fantastically surprised and impressed by the food. I have yet to try a thing from The Hum that I didn’t find delicious! The Salmon, Hot Brown, Goetta Meatballs, and The Breakfast Sandwich are some of my favorites, but I haven’t disliked anything. I’m not even a grits person, but the Shrimp and Grits was great!
The family and their employees are endlessly kind and helpful, as well as fun to chat with. They all are very present in the community and care about the costumers who come in. Addie is a phenomenal and knowledgeable bartender, with many unique cocktail creations and the ability to come up with fun ideas.
The atmosphere is very nice without feeling like there’s too much going on. There are photos of Covington history/memories on the wall. It is bright and has such a fun vibe for a meal, as well as the upbeat and inviting energy for a night out!

Never went here before it was the Hum. Stopped in for brunch with a friend. Tom. The owner was great to talk to. He filled Us in on the history of this place And talked about his passion for it as well.
If you pass by stop in for a really great Frosty boozy drink. They even have to go! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Happened upon The Hum on a Wednesday evening and decided to grab some appetizers on the patio. We ended up playing music trivia while we ate, such a fun vibe. The meatballs were next level, melt-in-your-mouth good, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The service was super friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

We stopped into The Hum for dinner and had a wonderful experience! The vibes are great and the food and drinks are even better! We had a few things including the hot brown, the beef Wellington pocket and the meat and cheese board – all of which were excellent! The staff is super friendly!!! Highly recommend!

Awesome little spot! The drinks were great and the food was good. You have to try the gourmet hot pockets, beef wellington was our favorite but SW Chicken and Spanakopita were also very good. Our server Mason was terrific.

Had a fabulous brunch today at The Hum in Covington! Great location, AMAZING menu (be sure to try the craft cocktails, sweet and savory pockets… the shrimp and grits is insanely good…!!) and excellent service with a cool ambiance and totally welcoming vibes!
