Service was good. Rolls were great. Risotto was so overcooked that I thought I was eating oatmeal. Scallops were over-salted. Crab cake was dry. For the price I paid and the quality of food, I will definitely NOT return.

The atmosphere in exchange is awesome. Food is very average. Wings were pretty good but overall probably overpriced for the quality.

Ate here with a group of friends from work. Everything was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, the weight staff and the food were all top-notch! We had the scallops and risotto, the salmon dish, a side salad, the tomahawk fried pork chop, the fried chicken plate with mac & cheese and collard greens. To drink we had the Tajin Dream and the moscato. Seriously, there was nothing that touched our plate that we did not like. The collard greens had an amazing flavor, the mac & cheese was absolutely delicious! Both the fried pork chops and fried chicken had some good seasoning! The salmon and scallops were cooked to perfection and the risotto was so creamy and flavorful!
The weight staff was absolutely amazing as well, they would check on us frequently, and bring out everything that we had asked for.

The breakfast will not disappoint! Marianna was a phenomenal server! She’s the best I’ve had in Montgomery. Separately, the cooks will create custom omelettes and eggs to order. Titanium Bonvoy members staying at Renaissance Saturday and Sunday receive a voucher for the stunning breakfast buffet.

The breakfast is delicious. I ordered the Benedict from the menu and they were kind enough to add cooked smoked salmon to it for me. Staff is also really great. Black women for the win!

Very nice experience tonight. We did have reservations and were seated right away. Our server, Gideon, did an outstanding job throughout the meal and at least 2 front of house staffers check on us to ensure we were satisfied with the table, the food and the service.
Although not directly related to the restaurant but it does figure in to our overall visit, the parking situation is terrible here and the overpriced (for 2 hours) city parking lot may be your only option if you don’t want to walk several blocks.

I feel like this is a hidden gem! The breakfast is amazing!
Somethings I noticed, that could be areas of improvement: Many people did not know that there are two options for food: menu items or you can dine off the buffet (drink is included). The wait on waffles are extremely too long for the buffet! I feel like they would benefit from having two self service waffle grillers. There were flies of some sort around the danish. The dishes (glasses) were not cleaned properly and the hot water kettle had debris in it. They had a great variety of teas; but due to the water…i wasn’t able to try them out.
Bragging areas: buffet options covers every type of eater! Cereals, fresh fruit, cheese grits, biscuits, bagels, eggs, yogurt, omelets, waffles, oatmeal & toppings, breakfast meats, hash browns, etc! Very reasonable in price.
I definitely would recommend this as a go-to breakfast spot!

I visited The House Restaurant with a group of friends and the food was delicious and well portioned. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and maple braised Brussel sprouts. I was told by my friends that the steak dish and the shrimp and grits were also excellent. The service was good and the food was brought out in a timely manner. It was good size crowd for a Friday evening but it was not overly busy. I would visit again and recommend trying.

The house was one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. It was beautiful and elegant! I was nervous to try this restaurant, but I am so glad that I did! The service was amazing. It wasn’t too overcrowded the seating was perfect. I had to change my reservation times a few times. But that wasn’t an issue for them once I arrived. We were treated so nicely. The food was well cooked and so hot and fresh! I can’t express enough how important that is to me. I never mind spending a good amount of money on food. I do expect it to be worth it. Dinner her was more than worth it. I made a risky choice choosing soul food because I’m a great cook in that area. So, I knew I would be critical, but that’s all apart of having a true and honest review. It did not disappoint at all. No corrections needed at all. I had the amazing opportunity to meet the executive chef Chris. He wanted to check in on our experience and how the food was. It was such an honor. This was my first time here and it won’t be the last at all. If you ever visit this place you will not be let down.

Stopped in before going to a show at the MPAC, super convenient location. The gentleman that sat us was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, very clean and not overly crowded or noisy. The waiter was fine, very quiet, not very attentive. We arrived just as they were opening, we didn’t have reservations but were seated right away. We waited over 40 mins for our food after ordering. They brought bread to the table by far best part of the meal. I was expecting way better food for the price. Ordered one drink, could not taste any alcohol, for $10 I should be able to get a hint. I ordered the scallops with the mushroom risotto. The risotto was undercooked and crunchy, the mushroom sauce was devine. Three scallops were great, one was pink and also undercooked. My mom had the shrimp and grits. Shrimp was beautiful and great size. Grits were very bland and sauce was tasteless. Could not believe we spent almost $90 before the tip for such mediocre food that wasn’t prepared properly. Such a long wait we didn’t have time to have anything remade since our show started at 6:30, very disappointing experience. Will definitely try somewhere else next time.
