So, I made a reservation for my first time visit. I walked in and got seated very quickly. My waitress’s name was Haley! She was great! She was very kind and attentive. Brunch food was amazing and the drinks were so good. I had the Blanche Please and the Bad and Boujee to drink. I had a breakfast croissant to eat. Super cute inside with good vibes! Music was great, and was quiet enough for normal conversation! (Sorry I took a bite before I took a photo. lol whoops)

Great experience! From the entrance and greeting by their manager (forgive me if I get his name wrong but I think it’s Hunter?), to the food, to the service by Julia, and all the way to the owner who happened to be there. Great convo, great food, great experience. I apologize if I got the name wrong. I waited too long to finally write this and I forgot names. So sorry. But the experience was unforgettable so there you have it.

We visited this restaurant for brunch and the overall atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—warm, stylish, and perfect for a weekend outing. The food was truly excellent; every dish was flavorful, fresh, and well-presented. You can tell the kitchen puts care into what they serve.
However, the mimosas were definitely not the highlight of the experience. If I had to make one recommendation, it would be to improve the quality and taste of the mimosas, as they didn’t match the level of the food.
Additionally, while the staff was polite, the service could have been smoother and more attentive. With a little more focus and hospitality, the overall experience would be truly outstanding.
Still, we enjoyed our time there and would gladly return for the atmosphere and the food. With just a few improvements, this place could easily become one of the best brunch spots around.

My brunch experience today at the House of Marigold was even better than my prior visit!
Ashley, our server, was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings. I had the Breakfast Croissant with crispy bacon, a perfectly fried egg, cheddar cheese, arugula, and a smathering of delicious garlic aioli. I enjoyed their hot paremesan truffle fries and a cup of hot coffee with the sandwich.
My husband enjoyed their Egg Salad & Avocado Tartine sandwich, which was served open-faced with a sprinkle of dill, all atop cornbread. He had their hash brown potatoes with onions and finished it off with The Remedy, their tasty version of a Bloody Mary.

Finally had a chance to try this place. We had friends in town and decided to have breakfast here. We made a reservation the day before. The atmosphere is fun and modern. The food portions are generous with creative touches. There were some vegan options available. And they do have gluten-free bread as an option upon request. I got the avocado toast and opted for breakfast potatoes instead of the egg. Its a nice experience.

Oct 10, 2025. This was our first visit to House of Marigold and it was excellent! The atmosphere is so cute and dainty. It was a great lunch for my daughters and I. Great atmosphere and the food was amazing! I ordered the Glow Getter drink (green tea, mango & pineapple juices) and it was wonderful! Highly recommend. We had the smoked salmon dip and it was also excellent. Beignets were amazing!!! Everything we ate was top notch. Our waitress was Jessie and she was so sweet and so helpful!

Wow what an experience!! I have watched this amazing restaurant grow within the community and to have them now down the street on Shelbyville road is such a treat! The place is curated perfectly for photos and the ultimate brunch/lunch spot! Not only does the food have a fantastic presentation it’s also delicious!! Don’t take my word of it, go check it out! You won’t be disappointed!!

We went on a Sunday afternoon, very loud, was difficult to have a conversation. Marigold has tried noise happening in parts of the ceiling.. they need more!
Food was fresh. Unfortunately not seasoned and had little flavor. Even my granddaughter commented on her egg having no flavor. We added salt and pepper, which helped a lot.
My group all shared this opinion. This food needs seasoning! Everything we ordered was bland.
Overall it was fresh, felt very clean, and was presented nicely. Since one typically goes to a restaurant for the flavor, I can’t recommend House of Marigold.

Beautiful decor, and small noticeable dainty touches throughout, amazingly delicious brunch options including specialty cocktails and mimosas. This place stays busy and is a bit loud at times but don’t let that deter you from stopping in.

It’s hard to imagine a better brunch experience! What an operation I cant wait for the NuLu location!! We sat at the bar and the restaurant was buzzing. Amazing service and food. We loved each thing more than the next. Fried chicken sandwich, breakfast croissant sandwich, oatmeal, waffle, grits, excellent coffee…all were a 10. Such a fan of HofM!
