I mean seriously you’d spend more at McDonald’s on a double quarter pounder meal than I did for 1/2 a rack of ribs, with 2 sides and a side salad. Wish we had one in Rolla Mo.
If you love amazing, tasty food that makes your taste buds dance with joy and doesn’t squeeze your wallet dry—- give this place a try. You’ll be back just like we were. Love ❤️ it
We were here about four weeks ago on a trip to Eureka Springs. We discovered this restaurant on a Google search after our original picks were slam full due to the Bikers Blues and BBQ festival that happened to be going on the same weekend we were there.
We decided to go here on a whim because it was a little bit off the main drag of downtown – we got there a bit earlier than the usual supper crowd time, and it was a fantastic meal!
I’ve waited too long to do this review and now I’m not for certain, but I believe our server’s name was Mel, and she was just precious! She was super nice, made conversation, checked on us, and was just overall a delight!
I had the country fried steak dinner with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely the best! My mom had the fried fish and shrimp plate, and she said it was delish!
I really hated that we weren’t going to be in town longer, because this restaurant had so many things on the menu that we wanted to try! I think if we would’ve stayed 5 more nights, we still would’ve went to the Horseshoe Grill and got something different every night!
Kudos to this whole place!
We waited about 25min for our food. I ordered the fried catch fish basket and my wife got the chimichanga. The fish was fried just right and the fries were fresh cut and had the perfect amount of crunch. Sadly the only gave me two hush puppies, both of which were very tasty. My wife’s chimichanga was also fried to perfection and the steak inside was well prepared. The beans and Mexican rice were also to her liking. The 40-60min wait for our food was worth it. It likely would’ve been less if it wasn’t so busy.
The only negative thing I could say is the service from our waitress could’ve been more. She could’ve checked on us more. But I also understand that it was a madhouse inside the restaurant, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt.
Overall, I would recommend this place. If I am ever in the area I will be sure to stop by for lunch or dinner.
No, I didn’t make my server aware, I wasn’t really sure what the point would’ve been. It was a simple quesadilla & the supposed “strawberry” margarita that my friend had, was pink but tasted so strongly of lime, that it would’ve been undrinkable for me. He drank it, but there’s absolutely no way I could have.
Odd that the original response has now been removed…
I have a few nitpicks, and their combined weight was a enough for me to subtract a star.
1. Their parking lot situation is terrible. At dinner time, us and between 10-12 cars over a period of 30 mins circled the tiny lot for a space. It was dangerous, and people were inventing spaces that could have easily lead to a collision.
2. During their busiest time they did not have enough staff. Their waiters were taking forever to come/return to tables. That’s not the waiters’ faults. It’s a staffing issue.
3. In the commotion, they got our order wrong, and by the time they’d rectified it, everyone had finished eating, leaving the unfortunate member of our party to eat alone.
I suggest coming here…but not at the dinner rush.
