I’m new to Valley Center so I’ve been trying the local spots. I must say that the Daylight Donuts here in Valley is really good and good prices. I went at 6am and got them fresh. Delicious . The lady there was very nice and I’ll definitely be going again.

This place makes great donuts, but there’s a serious lack of consistency and customer service. When you drive 25 minutes at 5:30 in the morning, you expect things to be ready, especially something simple like a Long John. And when it’s not ready and you do show a little frustration the least that they could do was be apologetic. But not this lady she made it seem like it was my fault it wasn’t ready. Not to mention a long John is not an unusual request. I did call two other daylight donuts in the area and they have Long John’s ready. So I’m not sure what the problem was here or why it would take another hour to have them ready. After this, I’m not sure I’ll make that drive again. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

We were visiting family in town and stopped by to grab donuts. They were super delicious, soft, and fresh. Not heavy with oil like many bigger donut shops. Delicious!

I didn’t realize how bad other Daylight Donuts experiences have been until here. Those donuts are fluffy and fresh. They are iced the perfect amount and you will be in and out so quickly. They have a drive up but also a walk in with drinks and coffee and even a seating area if you feel like staying.
