100% home town comfort food. My first time there and it’s a nice place. The dessert cabinet up front is fun to dream about. I came on a Saturday where it’s all you care to eat Ribs. The first helping was all I could handle. My dining partner’s cheeseburger was good. Prices were below expected. Service was OK for a local place. We did need to wave down the server a couple times…..but, all good. We’ll certainly return and try something different.

Food was good. What I didn’t like was when we walked in, you saw a desert counter with baked pies and store bought cakes. We were seated, and I asked about the pies that my friend ordered before we were seated. Told they are baked there. Now my point is they looked nasty greasy. When the pie was delivered, she was asked how long it was in that counter. She told us at least 4 days. I wouldn’t have even considered tasting it. Now on to the food. Lunch was quite enjoyable. I would definitely eat here again but sadly would avoid the pies.

I found their Ruben to be very disappointing. To start, they use mozzarella instead of swiss which was an unpleasant choice in my opinion. Also, the mozzarella is shredded and barely melted which makes for an unappealing texture. I would have also preferred more sour kraut. The corned beef itself was fine, as was the dressing and bread. I did not end up finishing it though. Fries were decent, but the coleslaw side I got was wayyy too sweet. Also, the root beer I got was very watered down. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day, or this is how the locals prefer their food, but this was not a good experience at all for me.

The food is absolutely delightful and reasonably priced. The service was outstanding. The kids kept commenting on how incredibly nice our server was and I could not agree more! From the soups to the main course to the ice cream it was all top notch! We will definitely be back for more.

Not a bad place for a small town. They have a robust menu! And their specials are good and resonably priced. I opted for the 1/4 chicken and shrimp special and a side of potsto soup. The meal was delicious.

Food was decent. I would go again. Service was all right if you get a piece of cake or pie for dessert, it’s a pretty good size piece and some meals come with ice cream
