I have been a visitor to Hop Knot many times over the years, but it has been a while since I’ve had a pretzel there. I was thrilled with how my stuffed Italian Pretzel came out on my most recent visit! The pretzels are soft, salty, and the beer cheese is to die for! I also had the blue cheese dressing and it was great!
Make sure to check out their great event schedule online!

This was my second time here. I appreciate that they are super LGBT friendly. They host Drag Race bingo on Fridays, there are rainbows all around, very inclusive.
The food isn’t bad, I just think the menu is small. I struggled to find something I was in the mood for, and finally settled on the Mac and cheese (added chicken $3 and the pretzel bowl).
The service was great, and my mac and cheese was pretty good once I finally decided. I think it’s a good place to have a snack and a few drinks. I’ll definitely be going back.

The Hop Knot Manchester NH for a couple pints & a taster of a bad ass 10%ABV stout. On my search for the best beer bars & taprooms in my home state of New Hampshire & New England I started closer to home in southern, NH. Some have been much better than others, carrying not only some good New England staples, but also offering a nice revolving tap list. The Hop Knot is one of those places that had a great variety, revolving taps & around five beers I hadn’t had to throw back into my beak. I stayed mostly on the lighter side of beer while I was here since I had another spot to hit after & was driving, but everything I got was excellent. I had heard some positive things about the pretzels, which there was a good number of styles of, but first the beer.
I started off my visit with a pint of a excellent Vienna Lager called HIGH FIVE SATURDAY from To Share Brewing Company that was super crisp, refreshing & the perfect beer to start my day with. My second pint was the GRATEFUL DEAD JUICY PALE ALE by Dogfish Head that was definitely juicy as described & reminded me more of a lower ABV% NEIPA, but still retained the pale ale styles taste & consistency. I ended my trip with a 4oz taster of the BLACK BEAR (2024) Imperial Stout from Great North Aleworks that kept up with the previous years offerings & was dangerously smooth for a 10%ABV.
Offering a good amount of hightops to sit at with a decently large bar to boot. I had a hour & 30min to kill so I ordered the Italian stuffed pretzel with pepperoni & mozzarella. It was delicious & pretty much a full meal. They didn’t skimp on the roni or cheese, this thing was truly stuffed to the brim with that goodness & came with a fat side of marinara. The bartender Jared was friendly, talkative & very accommodating checking up on me just the right amount of times throughout my duration there. Definitely a fun spot for sure & I’ll make my way back eventually when I’ve exhausted the new bars I haven’t been to in the Manchester area.✌♥️
PRETZELGASM RATING – 69/75. ✌♥️

Place has great vibes with nice beer selection and price. Only thing I am not a fan of is the S’more pretzel. Prob the burnt taste of marshmallow or something else tastes very weird. Would try something different next time.

My favorite spot for a fun night out ❤️ genuinely a safe and comfortable environment. I enjoy the drinks and the pretzels, and they have a great selection of local beer, but the atmosphere, events, staff, and other patrons are really what get me there as frequently as I am. I especially love Thursday night trivia and monthly karaoke. Pictured is the Spin stuffed pretzel with homemade blue cheese- one of my favorite items there. I highly recommend the pretzel-crust pizza and the baked pretzel Oreos as well.

I am not someone who writes reviews, but…I just had the most unwelcoming experience here. My husband and I arrived at 5:58 on a Thursday. It took a good while for food to arrive, and then my husband ordered one other thing, which also took a while to arrive. Which is ordinarily fine. However, as my husband was still eating, and as we were having a nice time chatting, and as we were wrapping up, we had just paid, and tipped generously, another server came up and told us we had to leave right then and there due to a reservation. They had not told us, there was no sign, they were seemingly in no rush whatsoever. And in the most unwelcoming thing I have ever experienced at a restaurant, the guy took my water away from me off the table and I said “my husband is still eating,” as he was, and he just didn’t care. We live nearby and were looking for places close by to eat but we will both not be back and will be sharing this with everyone we can. I’ve been a server and I would have been the most apologetic person ever if I had forgotten to reserve a table and needed it for someone else. We would have considered staying for trivia, which we had not known about, but after being shamed for being at a table under an hour and enjoying ourselves up until that moment, we can’t imagine going back.

We stopped in here for a beer after completing a race. They have an amazing selection of beers on tap. We also ordered lunch while there and my boyfriend and I both very much enjoyed each of our orders. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere was inviting. Price was decent as well. I loved the lay out, and we have been back and will continue to visit. It also happens to be right next door to our most favorite cafe. What more does one need than awesome coffee, pastries, beer, pretzels, and sandwiches?!

Very cool place! Went to a private Sunday morning event but loved the atmosphere and the cocktails. I enjoyed a dairy free espresso martini made with cold brew. So very nice. The brunch was complimentary with eggs, bacon, fruits and cheeses which complimented the alcohol. Can’t wait to go back.
