What’s a Hooley, you ask? Hooley (who-lee) – an informal Irish home kitchen party. Traditionally, a Hooley was a social party that took place at a private residence, often in the kitchen. Everyone brought their favorite dish, their instruments, of course their favorite brew, and they ate, sang, and danced long into the night! Yes, it’s all about having fun! In keeping with the Hooley tradition, this is an Irish/American Sports Pub that serves moderately priced, fresh and tasty favorite foods (with a spotlight on classic Irish dishes) in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. This is a great place to eat in or out. The staff is friendly, feom what i can tell things are almost all or completely all handmade in house. You dont get that at a sports bar usually. The chicken chucks I got i was excepting chicken fingers cut up. To my surprise it was hand battered chicken chunks. Mostly chicken with a little delicious crust. The only thing I can say is I didnt order extra sauce it needs it becuase them babies are pretty big. The loaded fries yall was not only big but soo good bacon wasnt burnt it was cheesed and seasoned to perfection. Chefs kiss!! And to top it off the host was beautiful nice modest. There was even one outside next ti a huge beautiful fireplace makes for a romantic dinner or date When im in town im going to eat here at this hidden gem. The atmosphere was good even though I was there for lunch and it was pretty empty. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was so bland though. I got the Hooley Cuban and the only thing I could taste was the pickle. It was like they washed the brine off of the corn beef, I forgot that pulled pork was on the sandwich and if there was a sauce, it tasted like nothing. What a disappointment. The tater tots were ok.. kinda like what u would get out of the air fryer. Also I thought it was weird that they had no drinks on the menu. No regular drinks like iced tea, lemonade, soft drinks, etc. It was honestly a big disappointment. I probably won’t go back.

Kate was my bartender and server. What a joy! Both the drinks and the food were absolutely fantastic. I don’t know how they make the price of the kind of thin cut. Yeah puppy I asked her she couldn’t tell me but other than it was deep fried and I’m telling you I’ve never had french fries like that before. Plus they had this truffle powder stuff on it. Delicious. I had that mac & cheese bake. Also top notch loved it. My sister had a patty melt, which was also a delicious according to her we had the seasonal martinis. Mine was an apple pie and hers was the caramel espresso martini. She said they were delicious and I do mean they we had more than one. The parking is great atmosphere is fantastic. I would say if you’re in the area drop by.

My son & I actually ended up here by accident, we were planning to eat at TGI Fridays, but when we got there it was almost closing time… I am SO glad that happened!! The hostess, Amora, was AMAZING and SUPER sweet! Her customer service skills are top notch! She deserves a raise for sure! We ordered a burger & fries, and it was literally the BEST burger & fries I’ve EVER had in 40 years!! I didn’t know either of them could taste THAT good! I’ve never eaten my entire meal at a restaurant before, but I cleaned that plate! This is my new go-to when I want burgers.
I can’t speak on the rest of the food there, but if you’re hungry for burgers & fries…GO HERE!! You’ll be glad you did!

I haven’t eaten here in 2 years ,the food was never great to me average . The service is excellent and fast. I ordered the burger with the egg ,and peanut butter spread on it . The peanut butter spread was delicious, but no seasoning on the meat . MY nephew had loaded tots they poured a ton of salt on , they was inedible. The loaded fries was good ,and the beer selection is great. I will try em again in a year .

It’s our first time here. So far the food we ordered was delicious. I didn’t have all the photos of the food we ordered. Outdoor seating is fine, needs a little cleaning but not bad. I also ordered Moscow Mule and it was worth the money. The servers are all nice. Will consider coming back!

Great large open bar concept with inviting large dining room area and center stage for live music. Big Japan band was playing and they were awesome! Service was prompt and friendly! Plenty of parking, right of the highway—great meeting spot for east and west siders just slightly west of Interstate 77. Highly recommend checking it out!

Not the worst experience, but by far not the best. We were not greeted at all except by a guy who was drunk at 2:00 at the bar. It took a while for anyone to notice us to be seated, but eventually we were. They were not busy and did not seem short staffed at all. We were visiting from the hocking hills area and kind of wish we chose somewhere else. My menu was disgusting and had who knows on it. Based on the burger pricing, you would expect a side of fries included. Nope. They are an extra cost. They weren’t bad but were weird. The burger seemed homemade which is nice, but one side was so bland while the other side had a ton of seasoning where you almost could eat that part. The service wasn’t great. Our drinks were never refilled. Anything that normal servers would do automatically we had to ask for every time. Again, they weren’t very busy at all. This was a Monday at 2:00. So safe to say it wasn’t the biggest disappointment we’ve ever had, but we definitely won’t be back.

We were in Cleveland and planned on attending an outdoor concert. It was rained out so we returned to our hotel in Brooklyn, Ohio. Across from the hotel, I noticed this sports bar called The Hooley Pub. It was on a Wednesday night and it was around 9pm. I decided to head over and get a drink.
It was not packed at all. There was a trivia night going on and they were just finishing up. I sat at the bar and waited longer than I normally did for service.
I ordered one of their signature cocktails. It was called a Watermelon Sugar High. It was delicious. I then ordered a double shot of dark rum and nursed it at the bar.
It’s a nice little place and I was tempted to order food but decided against it.
I definitely shall return.

Late night bites. Bar food that was pretty tasty. They were short staffed but they did pretty good. Chicken needed a little more seasoning. Pizza was good.
