UPDATE: I have noticed the owner responded and I want to clarify something. The problem wasnt uber it was on your teams fault they were the ones who didnt make sure everything was in the bag like always. The driver would have no idea if everything is in the bag because it is sealed. I would appreciate it if this was addressed to the team. Thank you for your time.
She was nice to every customer. I was impressed. I go to the other McDonald’s and those people are not nice. So thank you for being nice to the customers.
I’ll be the first to say it’s not me BECAUSE I WOULDNT BE ANONYMOUS hence why I’m creating this google review.
Whoever is running this place needs to look harder at its current status because it’s not tolerable & unacceptable.
This is in the public group on Facebook, you can easily find it.
What are we doing at this location??? Why’s the food freshness not being guaranteed
I need to share what happened last night so people can make informed decisions.
I was DoorDashing late last night/early this morning. Since the McDonald’s off 80 is closed, the location on 123 was absolutely slammed. The drive-thru line was wrapped around and barely moving. I had an order for 20 nuggets and a basket of fries simple order.
I got in the drive-thru line at 12:02 a.m. I did not receive the order until 1:10 a.m. Let that sink in over an hour.
When I finally got the bag, I immediately noticed the sticker printed on it showed 11:57 p.m. That means the food had already been sitting for over an hour by the time it was handed to me. The bag wasn’t even remotely warm. No heat. No steam. Nothing.
I politely asked the employee at the window if someone could please check the food for freshness because it clearly had been sitting. She told me she “couldn’t open it.” I then asked to speak to a manager. The manager (older woman, short, maybe in her 50s) came to the window and was extremely dismissive and rude. She refused to check the food and confirmed that yes, the order was packed at 11:57 when the sticker printed. No apology. No offer to remake it. Nothing.
We all know hot food sitting in a paper box, inside a paper bag, on a counter for over an hour is not acceptable. At that point it’s not about inconvenience it’s about food safety and basic standards. Fast food might not be gourmet, but it should at least be fresh and safe.
As a delivery driver, it put me in a terrible position. I felt awful delivering stone-cold food to a paying customer who had already waited that long. I messaged the customer immediately to explain what happened because I refuse to blindly hand someone food that had clearly been sitting for over an hour.
This isn’t about attacking employees I know late nights are busy and stressful. But management sets the tone. Refusing to remake food that has been sitting that long is unacceptable. Customers deserve better. Drivers deserve better.
If you’re ordering late night from this location, just be aware of potential delays and food quality issues.
McDonald’s do better!
