READ BEFORE PLACING ORDER!
I placed & paid for an online order a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving for a scheduled pickup, a 30 minute window (was required for online purchase) Wednsday before Thanksgiving just as hundreds of other people did only to show up and have to wait in a very very very long line while one of the franchises owners steadily solicited customers by offering to let them in the store to the front of the line if they were making a new purchase, before me and others such as myself who had prepaid a couple of hundred dollars weeks in advance (see pick), I spent 58 minutes in a line outside the store in the cold while others who had not planned ahead would literally walk up in front of you, go in and come out with bags if they were making a new purchase, only to get up to the front of the line and be told as many others were that they would have to substitute my order because they have sold out of a item that I had purchased, I was told that they would give me stuffing or that I could wait for an unspeculated time period, but yes I would be required to wait in line again because I had prepaid, no refund, take it or wait, needless to say the stuffing was “BAD” it had a foul taste, nobody got sick because the taste was so foul that everyone one had spit it out immediately. The woman that waited on me, and provided no other option than take it or wait was one of the franchises owners who had become agitated when I pointed out to her that what they were doing was not right “that for additional profits they were letting others walk up before I, and everyone else that was still waiting outside in the cold provided that they would profit from that new purchase.
The ham was excellent, but understand that some in our party could have been sickened from the bad stuffing (we received two packages, both were bad), this particular franchise has proven what they are willing to do for additional profits, should there be any question as to what there not willing to do to keep profits from prepaid orders? There were elderly people in our party.

I don’t even get why this place exists really. Everything is way overpriced, the food is ok, and you pretty much have to actually cook everything yourself. Yes, everything comes either frozen or cold. They even have the audacity to sell King’s Hawaiian Rolls at an upcharge. Also, they had a prime rib option on their menu for the holidays, but it was sold out from the beginning and was never available after that.

I won’t hate on the staff; they are actually really nice. They didn’t do anything wrong, and don’t deserve any of the blame on the product that they provide. It is all the people further up the ladder. The company just doesn’t offer anything valuable at any sort of a reasonable price. I don’t see the need for their business, and after my meal that I got from them, I won’t be going back. Again, definitely not the staff’s fault.

Do yourself a favor and just order from the store in Fort Worth if you’re placing a holiday order online. Been in line outside the store that hasn’t moved for 30 minutes for an order I placed two weeks ago. They are allowing walk-ins to go in and order before people with reservations. Never coming here again. Will drive the extra time to Fort Worth.

Update: took over an hour. Management of this location is the worst. Rude service, no regard for people who placed their orders and paid their money, but let every person who hadn’t placed an order in before everyone else. Never, ever again.

I’d like to order something on their site, but they don’t seem to want to show you what they offer other than ham. Actually, it doesn’t even offer a way to order ham. I had ordered a carrot cake in 2022, and it was heavenly. I wanted to order another one for my birthday. But after seeing the reviews in here, it seems everyone is experiencing a downturn in quality. This is not the high-quality place it once was. Even the apologies in here are rubber stamped. I read two of them. The wording was verbatim. It seems they no longer care. I won’t be back.

Lettuce was spoiled on my sandwich and the sandwich was really dry. You’d think for $9 you could get some fresh ingredients on a sandwich. Avoid this place. They don’t care what they serve you.

I love this place. Probably the best damn ham sandwich I have ever had… and that is saying a lot. I love the hot sweet ham, a small amount of mayo, cheddar cheese… all melted and yummy. I am getting hungry just thinking about this.

I’m really confused… I just drove across Burleson from Crowley to buy a HONEY BAKED HAM. I get there talk with the girl behind the counter and I explain I’m buying for my wife and I and we didn’t need a huge ham just enough for dinner and maybe a few sandwiches. We end up buying a 1lb sliced. I think it was just under 20 bucks..

We get home and open it up very excited to eat…. No honeybake… it’s just a generic ham??????? No candy crust no sweet glaze just an over priced stock ham… I’m frustrated that this wasn’t explained BEFORE I bought it. If there was a difference on the cooking process it needed to be explained… If I wanted a generic ham I woulda went to krogers right down the street. Super annoyed that this just happened.

It is very difficult to pay almost $100 for a ham they will not let you see before you spend the money! Also, the personnel was not aware of the difference between a ham butt and a ham shank as she tried to give me the shank when I requested a butt! If for food safety reasons, they do not allow you to see the ham they should at least wrap it in a clear wrapping so the customer can examine it before they purchase such an expensive item. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years, but I’m not sure I will continue to be!
