The Honey Baked Ham Store is always stocked with the turkey that we like since we don’t eat pork products. The turkey is honey crusted or smoked plain. Both are good options. The turkey is nicely packaged and sliced for quick serving.
They have smaller packages or larger ones depending on your preference. It is very lean and has a great flavor.
Service is fast and friendly. I like that they give you suggestions on freezing it too.

Something’s changed in the pick up process -and not for the better!
I should begin by saying we’re long time customers of Honey baked hams and love the quality of their product and I’ve waited in lines for many Easter hams over the years, long before the pre-order or pre-pay process was in place.
That being said, last year I pre-ordered and stood in line on Thursday for about an hour. As I stood in line I noticed many customers coming in the exit door, picking up their Ham and leaving in just a few minutes. So this year I thought I’d apply my learning and pre-pay in order to expedite my pick up time. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to one long wait line out the door and around the building. I thought this must be the pre-order line so I walked up to the front of the line to ask if there was another line for prepay orders. I was told- one line only- wait outside in that line. It was only after we got indoors that the line was allowed to split the prepay customers from preordered customers. The majority of customers outside were prepaid and also were surprised that the process followed in previous years was somehow changed to extend everyone’s wait time. People were arriving and doing the same thing I did and many were leaving or frustrated walking to the end of the line. One woman was even on the phone to corporate complaining about the crazy new system. The inside staff were also unhappy with the process mostly because the customers were frustrated and impatient with them after the long wait. In the spirit of the season I would like to offer my compliments to all the staff who handled themselves very professionally but may I suggest that they be allowed to design the pick up process themselves to best serve the customers and accommodate the staffing requirements at each individual store. They’ve got a great handle on what works best, so maybe give it a try and perhaps the flow of process could run a little smoother. Just a thought.

Carl was awesome. He’s so nice and gives service with a smile :)!! And he made sure to prepare my order as quickly as possible which I appreciated. The other ladies who work there seem kind of rude and one even rolled her eyes at Carl which made me sorta sad considering she was doing nothing and he was rushing my order around. The one thing I can’t get over though is the smell. It smells like extremely salty ham burps in there my sensitive nose can not handle it.

Picked up a prepaid meal today and it was a great experience. I was welcomed with a smile and directed to the area for prepaid orders (where there was one person waiting, as opposed to about 12 people in the walk-in line). Order and pay in advance, people! You will save yourself and the store a ton of time. I got my order quickly, everything was perfect, and now I don’t have to worry about much in terms of Thanksgiving preparation. Awesome, super friendly and helpful employees today. They were just great, even when some customers were being kinda ignorant. Clean, well lit facility and awesome food. Simply a great visit.
