Salad bar is always great, as well as the sandwiches. I bought some of the frozen soup to go. The loaded baked potato soup was overly salty. I prefer adding salt as needed, rather that having too much salt. I also bought the tomato bisque, which we haven’t tried yet.

We grabbed one of their frozen prepared takeout meals, the Reuben Bake. It was really nice change of pace from our normal take-out lunches. I think it said that it serves 3-5 people, but it was really about right for 2 hungry people. They have a huge selection to try from, though, so I can’t wait to try more.

A little on the pricey side but there’s sandwiches were really good. I had the turkey avocado and husband had the club and they were both excellent. Prepared foods in frozen section work very pricey ($20 for macaroni and cheese that serves four people is a lot)

Amazing salad bar and food! Wish I had heard of this place sooner than after graduation… Very nice selection of pies, cheeses, wines, and other local items. Lots of frozen baked goods and soups as well. The inside is very cozy and the staff is super friendly. Great place to stop!

This was a sweet out of the way cafe. The BLT was loaded and amazing. Served on a fresh Ciabatta roll. The desserts were yummy. I had the cheesecake and we took home a Pumpkin roll. There was a refrigerator section with premade meals and a small gift shop section.

This was my first time being at the homestead in West Lafayette. It did not disappoint! The atmosphere inside gave you a nice relaxing feeling. I got the meatball sub and I highly recommend. From the bread, to the sauce, to the ooey gooey cheese it made for a perfect bite every time. As for the service it was wonderful. I believe the girl we interacted with was named Livia. Her greeting us as soon as we walked in with a smile from ear to ear that was very inviting. She also handed us our food very quick and told us to enjoy our meal/ day. Overall it was a very pleasant experience 10/10 would recommend.
