This is a delightful local restaurant serving generous breakfasts and lunch. I come here with my mom whenever I am visiting from Chicago. We love the potatoes and sausage, and of course eggs and french toast. No mater what you order, you cannot go wrong. The staff is very friendly, and some recognize my mom as a regular. At times it can be lively as families of all types are enjoying their dining experience. If you want home cooked food while supporting a local business, look no further! Also visit the other local shops on this main street through Archbold.

Awesome little restaurant, the servers were super friendly and made you feel welcome. It has a small town feel that is very comforting. The food was hot and tasty. Will definitely be back!

The food was good. I ordered a traditional breakfast with 4 sausage links, scrambled eggs, toast and home fries.
I ordered water with no ice. I expected the water would be cold but it was warm straight from tap.

Stopped in while traveling because of the good reviews. We paused at the door because we didn’t know if we should wait to be seated. Waitresses were just walking by and not making eye contact or acknowledging us. So we sat at a dirty booth. Waited. Waited. They walked by several times still not acknowledging (hi we will be with you in a minute…nothing). Another family walked in. Sat at a table and immediately got waited on. I guess you have to be a local.

Cute, clean diner style restaurant. We had the breakfast special called a hay stack. Potatoes, sausage gravy, cheese and an egg. With toast. It was an okay breakfast. Not much on flavor.
My over medium well egg still had a little white snot. They were busy so we had a bit of a wait to receive our food. The prices are good and the amount of food was spot on.

Fabulous family owned local restaurant! We went for an omelette and haystack for breakfast, and both were perfect.

Had a great meal with the family. The sausage is the best I’ve ever tasted. Enjoyed every bit. Can’t wait to try it again.

Nice local diner with typical diner food. Not the huge servings you get in some diners but I’m okay with that as I can never finish those big portions anyway. Food was good. Place was busy at 10:30am filled with the locals. Menu was a bit limited in choices.

Got here about 9am for breakfast. The place was packed, but we were able to grab a table for four.
The decor was very generic farmhouse. The sort of stuff you would buy at Target or Walmart.
The waitress took our order, but she wasn’t very friendly about it. Almost like we were inconveniencing her.
The food was very mediocre. It really was the quality you would make at home, not that little bit better that you would expect from a restaurant.
