Peaceful, Spirit filled atmosphere. Great staff and excellent customer service. The coffee is better than the big name commercial brands. The Barista knows the menu well and made an excellent recommendation. I had the Sugar-free Melted Snowman! The prices are reasonable too! Ne sure to leave a tip and make a donation to a worthy cause while you’re there.

Found this little gem while on an errand in Kannappolis. Walking in I was surrounded by the Spirit in the decor but it was palpable in the service and attitude of the staff and you could taste it in the coffee they served. People there were spread out in the comfortable and inviting dining area having conversations that were not making for the typical coffee shop din. I don’t get out this way often but if I am ill definitely be back.

I had a mint tea and blueberry scone. The tea was fantastic. The scone tasted old. It was dry and bland.
The shop is nice and clean, very cozy.
Edited review: I went back today to have that fantastic green tea again. One of the owners thanked me for my fair review and said they shared to review with their baker. I’m not sure how much better a business could handle a review, so I upgraded my review to 5 stars. This is now my favorite spot in the area for coffee, tea and chill.

The Holy Grind Coffeehouse is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm smiles and an atmosphere that feels both peaceful and inviting. The décor has this cozy-yet-modern vibe, with just the right mix of rustic charm and uplifting energy—it’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home.
The coffee? Absolutely phenomenal. You can tell they care about quality—every cup is smooth, rich, and brewed to perfection. I tried their Cold Brew, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had. They also have a great selection of pastries and light bites that pair perfectly with your drink.
What really sets them apart, though, is the heart behind the place. The Holy Grind isn’t just about caffeine—it’s about connection. It’s a spot where conversations flow easily, music uplifts you, and you leave feeling better than when you walked in.
If you’re looking for a coffeehouse that blends excellent drinks, a welcoming community, and a soul-refreshing atmosphere, The Holy Grind Coffeehouse is it. Highly recommend!

This is my third visit at THG. I’ve been pleased with their service and coffee every time. Their staff is so kind and amazing. The young black gentleman had a lot of personality. My favorite of this winter season is the Sugar Cookie and Caramel Apple Butter. Their flavors are very rich.

The best and cutest coffee shop ever! I am not someone who really even likes coffee, but I love it here! Also they have plenty of other options like smoothies, flavored lemonades, and there’s something for everyone!

When my friend and I first came to Holy Grind, we weren’t sure if we were out of place at the time; there was a little boutique selling inside, a knitting group at a large table, and pastor and a church member in a corner. The place was fairly crowded and almost nowhere to sit. However we ordered off their seasonal menu and eventually found a bar-height table to sit until something more comfortable opened up.
Their staff is very sweet and friendly. Super helpful if you aren’t 100% sure what you’re looking for. If you haven’t been to Holy Grind, they have several semi-secluded sitting areas, including (my now favorite spot) 2 giant beanbag chairs. We definitely fit right in. Once we found those LoveSacs that engulf you and you sit and drink the delicious coffees they offer, you forget everything else around you. It’s become a regular meeting spot for sure.

Went here ordered a medium latte total come to almost 9 dollars without using my debit card. Then the lady was rude and asked me was that all and I’m like yeah who can afford much more than that for a couple 1 cup of coffee so she proceeds to run my debit card or so she said which her money on it wasn’t locked and always tells me via text message that a transactions being run or it always gives me the transactions and I never got one so she didn’t run my debit card so needless to say we left was not very friendly was very rude and very overpriced. The customer service was very bad and for this to be a place that is claiming to be a Christian place. These people weren’t very Christian like and not to mention way overpriced How much nine bucks for a medium latte Starbucks is cheaper and they don’t have the moody attitude

In town for a few weeks and Holy Grind Coffee House has proven to be a GREAT office on the road! Great drinks, great staff and a great setting! Not too loud and not too quiet. They regularly can be seen keeping everything clean, including the restrooms. Various styles of seating options are amazing!
I highly recommend this place for your coffee needs if you’re ever in Kannapolis!

Lots of interesting flavor options but they have the traditional vanilla latte too. The staff was great and the environment was comfortable. Plenty of parking and a drive thru too. Along with all the standard coffee options (both hot and cold), they also offer a range of pastries as well – although we came later in the day so the selection wasn’t quite as broad as earlier. I’d recommend trying The Holy Grind Coffee House
