Goodness, this was surprisingly tasty! Excellent food—we had Pozole Verde and a Machaca breakfast burrito. Thick, homemade chips and salsa too. Service was great and atmosphere was comfortable-quaint. This might be the best Mexican restaurant in East Texas. I can’t wait to try more of the menu!
Edit: Still a very nice staff, but no discount for Vets on Veterans Day is a foul.

The Lovely Eatery is indeed Lovely. Now, look, I had the Huevos Rancheros, which I’ve had at other places, and here it is the best. Certainly they have other foods, other dishes and what I saw looked great. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. It is a neat place, small, nestled nicely along hwy 80 in Longview. Folks speak Spanish and English, and are absolutely helpful. Food portions were right for the price, and, again, again my dish tasted amazing! Go by and give it a try.

Cute little Mexican restaurant. Clean with good atmosphere. A little dark inside for my liking but it was early morning and no one was eating in the restaurant. Service was quick, helpful and friendly. The brisket breakfast taco was not bad but the meat lacked enough seasoning. The salsa was good, a little on the hot side but gave the needed flavor for the taco. Overall, an average taco but happy to find a brisket option. Several other breakfast options available. All made fresh after ordering!

My husband, two of our grandsons and I are eating at Lovely Eatery. We are drinking Mexican Cokes and enjoying freshly fried tortilla chips and spicy red salsa. Both grandsons are eating delicious bacon breakfast tacos. Our grandson, Zander, ate his first bacon breakfast taco and then ordered another! Hubby and I are enjoying hearty breakfast taco plates, with brisket, chorizo, and bacon taco fillings. The potatoes are delicious! The tiny restaurant is clean, and our waitress is nice. The restrooms are clean and stocked. The small, free parking lot is clean and well-lit. Recommended, for high quality homemade food at reasonable prices!

I found some authentic Mexican food here in East Texas.
Chiliquiles was amazing. Served with two fried eggs and a side of refried beans. They serve it with the green sauce and that was really the only negative as I prefer to have red sauce.
Chicken mole was amazing. Served with rice and warm tortillas. ☺️
Chicken flautas were perfectly crispy and served with fresh slices of avocado.
And don’t forget the dessert. The churro cheesecake is a must-have and was absolutely delicious.

They serve full menu all day. We had their American breakfast with crepes, and they were really delicious. We also had to try their chips and Queso, queso had a kick, but was good and chips were fresh and had a great texture to them.
Nice and clean on the inside, and everyone was super friendly. A new Saturday brunch spot for us for sure. Can’t wait to go back for lunch.
