Full disclosure… I am biased to bee-themed things but this place is just SO CUTE. For a smaller spot, they still managed to have some soft seating, a L-shaped bar along the windows, and tables. All without making it feel cramped.
The service was amazing. The lady at the counter was very sweet and friendly. Before we get into food, I also wanted to call out the self service coffee bar that has a huge assortment of syrups, milk and alt milk options, and hot tea. All for the price of the coffee which is only $4.
I got their featured biscuit sandwich which was sausage egg and cheddar on a cheddar biscuit. Delicious. I also got 3 mini biscuits- plain, white cheddar and blueberry. All amazing.
Overall – so glad I decided to try this restaurant!! Would highly recommend.

We arrived here a little before they were going to close. They were extremely kind and still allowed us to order some amazing food and coffee. I ordered a sausage, egg, pepper Jack biscuit and it was so good! Biscuit was soooo good. The others ordered a cinnamon roll and it was fantastic as well. Don’t forget to order the hashbrowns!! They have flakey salt on them and oh my gosh, it’s to die for.

The worker at the front told me they have biscuits baking for my sandwich and it would be a few minutes but it ended up being almost 20. Then the biscuit on my sandwich still had a doughy center and also was overdone on the outside. The sausage was small and gross; half pink and half greasy brown like it was sitting in grease and the egg was grey like it had been sitting awhile also. I couldn’t have more than a couple bites of it. It is a cute place but disappointed by the food and I didn’t mind waiting at all but would have liked to known upfront that it would be as long as it was.

First of the biscuit on my sandwich was awesome. Moist and delicious. The mini biscuits were a fun way to try different flavors. You can order at random because they are all 5⭐️ amazing. Coffee was excellent and the fixins station let us customize to a perfect cup. Add syrups cream or nothing as you prefer. The service was cheerful and quick. The place was clean and comfortable with outside seating too. I will go back for sure. I heartily recommend.

Super cool, cute little breakfast boutique to grab a sweet and/or savory bite! The staff is exceptionally effervescent and knowledgeable about the craft, and customer centric. Like the name states, the menu is focused around biscuits – they have egg, cheese and sausage/bacon sliders, biscuits and gravy (bomb!), Cinnamon rolls, and a plethora of other savory biscuits. Sliders were tasty, biscuits and gravy were wonderful, cinnamon rolls great, and coffee fresh and hot.

A functionally perfect biscuit to me. Chewy, dense, buttery, fully developed flavor. Something very hard to find north of the mason Dixon. Also it’s low key and clean and friendly and easy to park. The eggs are fluffy and the cinnamon bun biscuit is delicious as well. Would recommend to anyone even someone who doesn’t typically like biscuits.

If I could give Basic Biscuits more than 5 stars I would! What a great place! Food was stellar. Gravy was *chefs kiss*, biscuits were ALL so good! Our surprise favorite was the lemon lavender, so light, fresh, and delicious. Our counter server was such a delight, bringing all the contagious positive energy on a Sunday afternoon! If you haven’t been yet, it’s a MUST. Don’t be Basic and get your biscuit here now!

These are the best biscuits I have ever had. They are so tasty! There are breakfast biscuit sandwiches—I had one with cheese and homemade sausage—delicious and not greasy at all. My day started great in this nice place that I highly recommend.

This place has significantly gone down hill since it first opened. The food has lost quality and flavor. The biscuits and gravy used to be our regular favorite. As of the last couple visits, the gravy has no flavor, the amount given is barely half of the container, and the biscuits are undercooked and doughy.

Got there at 11:45, was not welcomed as we entered and unfortunately they were already sold out of everything except for a few tiny biscuits. Ordered 4 small biscuits, which the cashier grabbed with her bare hands after touching the cash register, counter and everything in between. Ordered a cold brew but received no ice. Cold brew was delicious would return just for that and also would return to try the biscuits if properly handled.
