My first visit was a winner! The Ruben was a little bit heavy on the sauerkraut. But otherwise excellent. Our server, Wendy was fantastic. The Little train that runs overhead was a big hit with my kids. We will be back.

The older waitress who’s been here 40 years- she is the bomb!!! Her years of experience show and she cannot be beat. The food was great, better than expected and the portions large!

A cute diner with very friendly staff from entrance to server. The food like any diner is cooked to order. It’s pretty good but my husband had asked for his potatoes to be extra crispy and it wasn’t. We shouldn’t clarified that he wanted it more on the burnt side. It still tasted good.

On the menu their chipped beef seemed to be their specialty. It was really good, I liked a little bit more saltier but this was good still. My husband loved that it was creamy and no as salty. So if you’re watching your cholesterol, the chipped beef isn’t that bad.

I ordered pancakes, they are huge! So there are quantity options, if you’re not a big eater, one pancake is filling.

All in all, not bad for a quick bite for breakfast.

Was very impressed how the sausage and gravy tasted. Definitely taste like they made their own. The potatoes could have been better. The waitress was friendly and didn’t bother me by coming by the table every two minutes ya know!! The restaurant is very clean and organized so I recommend stopping by for a meal to find out for yourself.

This truly is a great American diner. We loved the train display at the front! It had some very neat history that even my toddlers enjoyed. The food was great and the portion size was decent!

The manager discriminates against disabled children and advises they leave the restaurant. When you raise concerns about her behavior, she wants to discuss it outside so the customers in the store can’t hear her disrespectful response to the situation. She needs to brush up on ADA before her attitude and personal beliefs get the restaurant in hot water. Disabled people exist and are afforded the same rights as anyone else. I would hate for a local business, especially one that’s been around this long, to face ADA violations due to an unprofessional manager. The first violation carries a fine starting around $75,000.

Delicious food! Lots of variety, something for everyone. Prices are reasonable and our waitress was new but went above and beyond! Casual dining. Older style interior is the only reason for the 4 stars but it’s Historic so it makes sense.

It’s probably been twenty years since I have stepped foot in this restaurant, thought we’d give it a whirl for takeout. I wish I had time to sit; this would be the perfect kind of diner place to write, or do some paperwork. Plenty of tables, and you could be left alone with your coffee or tea if you chose-but, I don’t have the time for that- I’ll put that on the bucket list. In the meantime, the order was nicely taken over the phone and ready when I got there. I was picking up for some else-order chicken tenders and fries – metered parking right out on the street and a lot literally across the street. Plenty of seating available, nice solid diner type menu chicken tender basket included 3 tenders.

Our first time here. Seated ourselves. Plenty of seats available. Went for breakfast. 3 of us. Only issue was parking. Im handicapped so had to get dropped off front door. Staff very pleasant. Food was fabulous and quick.
