Down to earth bar with good food. The staff were really nice. We were there on a Thursday night and unfortunately their supply truck had not come in and there were many things on the menu that were not available. The dirty chicken was great as were the French fries! The fried pickles and onion rings were excellent. The okra was just okay, nothing to write home about. We visited on trivia night.

I have driven by here before and it always looks abandoned. I was in the area and decided to check it out. There were two people who I could see when I walked in. After affirming they were open, I ordered and took a seat. The chicken quesadilla was good. The krinkle fries were seasoned with pepper. Everything was good and reasonably priced. It was so dark inside.

Super dark atmosphere(not a single window). The waitress wasn’t nice either. The food we wanted was not available (crab cake balls, cheese sticks, Philly steak and cheese sandwich, root beer). The food we got wasn’t good either (fries were overcooked, onion rings were undercooked/crunchy inside). The worst place we ate while in Vicksburg. The burger is a frozen patty from the grocery store/not made fresh and tasted accordingly. Fried shrimp is frozen and prebreaded popcorn shrimp.

Very interesting place. Service was spot on, atmosphere was good except for the lighting, and the food was above par.

We had fried pickles (made on premise) and Poboys. The Mrs had the Southern version that has fried green tomatoes on it and went with the blackened shrimp. I got the traditional fried shrimp. Her shrimp were good size, mine were popcorn shrimp that looked like they came out of a bag.

Bottom line is we will come back again if we are in the area.

A hole in the wall! It gives me 90’s vibe. Kayla was super nice and friendly! We also enjoyed the blackened catfish with creole sauce.

Built up an appetite after touring the National Park, the Old Depot Museum, Coke Museum and Lower Mississippi River Museum. Just up the street this unassuming establishment sits just on the edge of downtown Vicksburg. Had good reviews so decided to stop in. Glad we did. Our service was outstanding. Very nice people in there. Ordered the Vicksburger and catfish basket. To my surprise, it was 1lb of beef sandwiched between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. Burger was topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo, mustard and ketchup. It was perfect! Nothing needed adding nor subtracting. Hit so good! The catfish was light and crispy and was delicious. The fries appeared to be hand cut and was fried to a perfect golden crisp! I slightly salted and would say these were some of my favorite fries in a long time. If you’re looking for a low key spot to eat a great meal, look no further. Looks like they have a nicely stocked bar with a stage for live music. I highly recommend the place. Come out and support your local restaurants and avid chains!

Stopped here on our way to Alabama (from Texas) after reading the reviews. My husband and I agree that these were the BEST hamburger and onion rings ever! Eclectic atmosphere and wonderful, friendly staff. Definitely will come again.

It’s basically a bar with subpar food. The place is dark and shabby looking. The shrimp basket is popcorn shrimp. I would not even call them popcorn. They were smaller than popcorn. I couldn’t even taste the shrimp. My husband’s sandwich was ridiculous. The only decent item was the homemade onion rings. The waitress was very good. I am sure this place is lots of fun to hang and have a drink and listen to music. Thumbs down on eating there.

This is a very interesting and somewhat surprising place to eat. You can drive by and not realize it’s a restaurant. The food is very good- we got the lunch specials with country fried steak and catfish with fried okra and it was fantastic. The people are nice and friendly. It is very hole-in-the-wall style, and darker than I was expecting, but you (whoever is reading this) may find it cozy. I plan to make this pretty regular.

The atmosphere is totally relaxed with a great vibe. Customer service was EXCELLENT and the food is perfectly seasoned and AMAZING. Guests should definitely try the Vicksburger (generous beef patty sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches).
