We eat a lot of Indian food and this did not disappoint. .
We had Samosa chat as an appetizer, butter chicken, palak paneer and garlic naan.
The portions were generous and the food was authentic and delicious. It was really excellent and fresh.
The service was friendly and good and there is plenty of parking available.
Update: Since my last posting we have eaten here a number of time andtried a varietyof dishes. The food is always delicious with spice levels consistent. Sarah the lunch server is ultra knowledgeable and very helpful.

We went tonight and had some really great food! We ordered the chicken momo, so good and loaded with meat. Then shared the chicken biryani, wow! The flavor was amazing, spice level at medium was perfect for us. A level 3 at some of the Thai places is over powering, this medium was perfect. Enjoyed tasting a new Himalayan Beer which was good and was also served a Nepali version of a White Russian. Not too sweet and just the right amount of light and refreshing. Can’t wait to go back. Service was fast and all were super friendly!

Delicious, fresh flavor explosion with every bite! Generous use of herbs and warm south Asian spices make this restaurant a unique dining experience for the Ozarks. Don’t let the Mexican restaurant vibe you feel when walking in deter you, the reasonably priced Asian/Indian inspired menu is filled with exciting authentic options perfect to get you out of the burger and pizza rut. If you’re feeling adventurous, I highly recommend adding The Himalayan Grill to your list. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was great, and our server was conscientious. She went above and beyond to insure that we would not potentially get sick, by letting us know that there were peanuts in the sauce, for example. She also tried to explain things in a non-condescending way, so we’d have an idea what we wanted to order.
I’m so excited to see this offering in SW MO, and would encourage you to try it, especially if you like Nepalese or Indian cuisine.

My husband and I went here for the first time for his birthday. Everything is fresh and perfectly cooked! He said “this food was made by someone who LOVES to cook!”. You can tell the cook takes great pride in his food! Authentic, delicious, fresh, and quite the variety. We found our new favorite place! Sarah is a great server and very knowledgeable about the menu. 10/10 experience!

Our top picks: Momo, Newari Khaja Set, Chowmein, Kabab, Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Pakoda. And don’t skip the Mango Lassi—it’s a must!
Excited for when they start serving liquor—we’ll definitely be back to enjoy the full bar experience!

So glad to have a great new restaurant in our community of Republic! The food was amazing, fresh and the grilled skillet dish was to die for! The only feedback I would give is the chicken in the butter chicken was a little chewy, but just make the pieces thinner and not so chunky and I think it would make it perfection!

Very excited when Himalayan came to Republic. Was able to get reserved seating for my wife and me for Valentines day.
The food was fantastic! I like heat and the lamb vinadaloo delivered and was delicious!!

We stopped by around 7 PM on 7/22. I ordered samosas, and chana masala. My friend had garlic naan, and chicken chuttinad.
The food was pretty good! The plain rice was cooked well, the spice level for me was exactly what I asked for. So was my friends.
The samosas and naan were very good too. I crave this spice profile, and they delivered.
There was a large table in the back, maybe 10 – 15 people. While they two girl taking orders were very apologetic about wait times, the wait wasn’t excessive.
I’m so happy to have this wonderful option in Republic!

Went for lunch today. Tried to order an appetizer and they didn’t have it. Kinda surprised as it’s a new restaurant and fresh menu.
I really enjoyed my food. I got the Chicken Biriyani with garlic naan. I’m excited to try more food options next time.
