A bit of a disappointment. We have gone to Hidden House for years and I have told so many people that they should go there for the food and the drink. But this last time was a bit of a disappointment. It was for a Valentines Day lunch. We started with the Sake Bomb Popcorn Shrimp which were PERFECTION. The Sapporo Beer batter was crisp and light. The rock shrimp were perfectly done. The chili aioli was a wonderful compliment plus they offered a Sake spritzer that topped it off. We were so excited thinking that once again Hidden House is the place to be for great food. My Negroni was delicious as usual. We followed with the Duck Melt (historically my must order sandwich) and the Maryland Style Crab Cake. This is why we only put a 3 star for the food… the duck melt has a minimal amount of duck confit (especially compared to my past orders) and although the sour dough bread was perfectly crisp and flavorful, the volume of the aioli overpowered the limited amount of duck.
The Maryland Crab Cake was not even close. I am from back east and I do not know what part of Maryland this came from. The cake had a “hard” crust that was thick and required a knife to get through it. As well the crab meat had minimal flavor. The crab cakes I remember had a light crisp to them and could still be flaked with your fork. Very disappointing.
The wait staff were excellent. Our waitress was Grace but they truly work as a team and we had multiple staff delivering drinks, topping off waters and bringing food. Kudos to all the wait staff.
I want to believe that the this poor showing of food is just a one off. After all, Hidden House introduced me to Blistered Shishito Peppers and the flavorful “paper airplane” drink. A place I have always looked forward to come to for fine dining.
So we will be back but we hope it will back to the historical standards.

The Hidden House has a quaint, comfortable atmosphere that put us at ease right off the start. We received some awesome recommendations from our server, Hayden who had a joyful, infectious spirit. She discribed the craft cocktail book in a way that made me want to try one of everything. We started with one of my favorites, a per- prohibition cocktail, the Aviation, made with a top shelf herbal gin and creame de Violette, my guest chose a house crafted draft specialty, the Bananas Foster Old Fashioned. Both were great. Next was a “Southside’ from the Al Capone days, and nice glass of Pino with our meal. For food we started with the Sake bomb popcorn shrimp complete with chili oil and a sake spritz. For my entree I chose a prime cut grilled bone-in pork chop that was by far the best pork chop I have ever had. Thick, moist throughout, perfect sear, served with a carrot puree and grilled whole carrots. My date also enjoyed his Expresso Rubbed Filet with blue cheese and a medley of grilled potatos. We took our desserts to go. The pumpkin layer cake with white chocolate bark and an extremely rich amaretto cheese cake finished off our evening. Thank you to Hayden for a great experience. Your recommendations did not disappoint. We will be back.

WOW! This place is a “hidden gem!”. My wife and I took my daughter and her husband for her birthday and she couldn’t have picked a better place. Ambiance (outdoor seating) is amazing. Service was phenominal. Food, just UNBELIEVABLE. We started with a couple apps; gordito & butter board – I’d highly recommend (supposedly butterboard is their mistake popular), but the gordito was one of the best street tacos I’ve ever had. For entrees, i had the pork chop and (again), the best I’ve ever had – tender, juice and flavorful. That pork chop over the carrots puree was OUTSTANDING. Our group also had the filet (and loved it), the salmon (one of their most popular) and a crab cake + salad. The crab cake was excellent but the salad was “not super tasty”.
Overall, easy 5 star +++ that I’d not only highly recommend, but also take other to again.

We had a reservation here for our anniversary and it was fantastic. They gave us some champagne to toast. There was live music in the back where they seated us that was just the right volume so we could still talk without having to yell to hear each other. The food was so flavorful and fresh. The service was good (4 stars instead of 5 on service because although I appreciate a server coming to the table to check on us periodically, it was way too frequent, which kept interrupting our conversation). I loved the dining experience here overall though and plan to go back.

We had heard great things about The Hidden House and finally had the opportunity to stop in for dinner. We opted for the outdoor/patio seating as the January temps were perfect. I will be honest, the music was initially a bit overpowering through the speakers, but after a few minutes the music selection changed over to a more subdued vibe and the volume was turned a little lower, I’m assuming for the dinner hours. We started with the Sake Bomb Popcorn Shrimp and I chose the Citrus Blossom draft cocktail. Both were amazing! We shared the Antipasto salad and the Korean BBQ Short Rib, followed by the Oreo Brownie. The flavors in the salad were delicious, the rib was fall-apart tender with a phenomenal sauce, and the Oreo Brownie was layers of perfection. I’m not an Oreo/chocolate fan so the dessert was my husband’s choice. However, I couldn’t get enough of the flavors and textures and the gooey deliciousness. The evening was a delight, due also in part to our lovely server, Mohammed. He was wonderfully thoughtful, knowledgeable, professional and kind. It was such an enjoyable dining experience- thank you to everyone at The Hidden House!

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank Katia, her incredible staff, and our best friend Monica for giving us the wedding day we always dreamed of. Monica worked side by side with Katia and the team to bring everything together, and the result was beyond anything we could have imagined.

We honestly had no idea how well everything would come together—we never would’ve thought Hidden House could exceed our expectations the way it did. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and it felt like a dream unfolding before our eyes. The table arrangements were absolutely beautiful, and the team catered to us in every single way.

One of the biggest surprises was the live performer singing that evening. At one point, I was “forced” to dance with my husband , and later I was able to share a heartfelt dance with my father—both moments that we will cherish forever. It made us feel like we were truly celebrating not only with our loved ones but also with everyone in the room. The atmosphere was simply magical.

The food was incredible (our guests are still raving about it!), but the service and attentiveness of the staff were what truly set the night apart. They anticipated our needs before we even realized them, always moving with genuine kindness and care.

Hidden House literally went above and beyond for us. What was meant to be just our reception turned into an unforgettable celebration filled with love, music, laughter, and joy. We will forever be grateful to Monica, Katia, and the Hidden House team for making our wedding day so extraordinary.

Tucked away in Chandler, The Hidden House truly lives up to its name; it’s a spectacular gem you’ll be thrilled to find. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance struck the perfect balance of rustic charm and vibrant energy, making it ideal for a special night out, in our case, an anniversary.

But let’s talk about the real stars of the show: the food. I am still dreaming about the brisket ragù. This dish is nothing short of a masterpiece. The brisket was impossibly tender, slow-cooked to perfection, and nestled in a rich, deeply flavorful ragù that had layers of smokiness and subtle spice. Served over creamy pasta it was the ultimate comfort food elevated to fine dining. An absolute must-order.

Equally impressive were the pork chops. Thick-cut, juicy, and cooked with impeccable precision, they arrived seared on the outside, retaining all their glorious juices within. The seasoning was spot-on, and whatever accompanying glaze or reduction they used complemented the natural sweetness of the pork without overwhelming it. It’s a dish that proves how exceptional a classic can be when executed with this level of care and skill.

Beyond these standouts, the entire experience was seamless; attentive and knowledgeable service, with a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Hidden House isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a destination. Do yourself a favor and seek it out. Your taste buds will thank you. We cannot wait to return and explore more of the menu. Though it will be a serious challenge to order anything other than that life-changing pork chop!

Last year we had an incredible experience at Elliot’s Steakhouse—amazing food, top-notch service, and an atmosphere that made the evening special. This year, by chance, we tried The Hidden House and were blown away all over again. We didn’t even realize until midway through the meal that the two restaurants were connected—no surprise given the consistent excellence!

The service at The Hidden House was absolutely outstanding, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and every dish was perfectly prepared and delicious. From start to finish, it was an experience to remember.

If you’re looking for consistently fantastic dining, whether at Elliot’s Steakhouse or The Hidden House, you can’t go wrong. We’ll definitely be back!
