fajitas were excellent and the Mexican shrimp cocktail was good with lots of shrimp. The sides were mediocre, but the service was good. On my return trip I really liked the queso fundido which was not normal queso (a bit confusing there). Really enjoyed them having the Aggie football game on.

We have eaten at Mas Fajitas many times. We were seated in Brayson’s section this go around. So very happy we were! He is a fabulous waiter – friendly, personable, professional. We will ask to be seated in his section in the furture!

We came in on a busy Friday night and were told the wait would be about 20 minutes. After waiting over that time, we checked back and were then told it would be an additional 45 minutes due to the kitchen being backed up. We completely understand busy nights, but better communication about the delay would have been appreciated. We’ve eaten here before on a non-busy day and really enjoyed the food, which is why this was disappointing.

We ordered chicken with mushrooms and bell peppers covered in Monterey cheese with refried beans and rice. The chicken was cooked well but the flavor made it taste almost dirty. The bell peppers were big and chunky, not grilled and the cheese seemed to be melted by microwave.
The beans flavor was fine, but the texture was different, kind of chalkyish. The rice was cooked well.
We ordered birria tacos with birria meat. The tacos were good, plenty of good meat and cheese. The birria sauce to dip in wasn’t my kind of flavor but it wasn’t bad. No onions, cilantro or limes to go with it.
My daughter ordered a bean and cheese kids burrito and fries. The waitress explained to us that it was more of a taco fold over rather a burrito, but my daughter loved it. The fries were good, but could have been cooked a little longer.
The queso was good for children and those who do not like too many peppers in theirs. The temperature of the queso was perfect.
The first batch of chips we got were fine, but the second batch tasted old/stale.
The environment was nice, many decorations and the staff was very polite.
The bathrooms needed some cleaning up, as well as the toilet paper was nearly impossible to get out of either stall container.

Food was DELICIOUS. We didn’t wait long for it and there was a concise, lunch menu. Totally worth it if you’re in the area. Brandy, our waiter, was very friendly and amicable. Very good service. By the way, the music selection was *chef’s kiss*.
