This is worth the detour if you’re traveling through. Delicious food. Had the BBQ sandwich with fries which I ate there and took home a Philly cheese steak for later. BBQ ordered without the hot sauce but put the cole slaw on top. I didn’t see any BBQ sauce to put on at the tables but probably if you asked for it. Sauce free was still delicious. Bread used was great. Fries were crispy.
I was there during lunch rush and it took about 10 minutes for the food which is well worth it for made to order.
Seating area could probably fit about 10 people or so. They had 4-6 seats at a window counter and I think about two tables for small families (4 or so seats at each one). A fair portion of the people today did take out, so no issues finding a spot.
They have a locally made section: jelly/jams/canned food, jewelry, peanuts, etc. Makes for great gifts. Have an aisle or two of convenience store candy/items.

Beautiful country store with some really great local vibes. The lunch hour is frequented by the locals, the Philly Cheese Steak is scrumptious. Definitely visit, this is worth going out of the way for. Magnum Approved.

I drove over 40 minutes to try the meatloaf. It was worth every mile, every drop of gas and every toll! It’s like somebody’s Granny was in the kitchen making sure you weren’t disappointed and believe me, I wasn’t disappointed. Huge serving size, enough for two meals. Excellent customer service, clean store and fantastic food. Now I know why there was a line to order the food, people know what’s good and it was delicious! Kudos Hanover Country Store.

This was our first visit to the store. My husband and I ordered dinner and shopped while waiting. Service was friendly and fast.The food was really good! All was cooked perfect. My hubby said it’s one of the best Philly steak subs he has had in awhile. My grilled chicken sandwich was not bland at all. It was seasoned and very tasty! The fries were also seasoned well. We also loved the local products we found here and their prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be returning here.

This was a random stop one day and it did not disappoint. The plan was to order a deli sandwich but they convinced me to try their homemade chicken tenders and wedges. OMG… So good. Best tenders I’ve had in a really long time. And the homemade ranch was super yummy too.

I stopped here for lunch. Environment is country store. It has a deli. The GM description on the header page labels it as a restaurant. Doesn’t look like a restaurant to me. There are two dining tables tucked into the front corner of the store. I really wasn’t sure if I should sit down at one of those and eat. The tables were somewhat disorganized looking and I thought it might be the break and lunch station for the people that work here. I didn’t ask.
I ordered a BLT on wheat with french fries. It was served in a foam to go container. The container was small, but I thought they did a good job of rounding it out with food. Both sandwich and fries were tasty.
I think the floors need a good cleaning. Would really brighten the place up.
