All I can say is wow. I been to so many Indian restaurant in Chicago’s Little India in Devon Ave. This place is legit tasty. The spices in the food are so spot on. Just the goat meat on the rice was a little dry. Over all, it was a great experience. And for the price of $10.99 buffet. You can’t beat that. If you’re hungry and have a taste for Indian food. This place is a must try. I can guarantee it you won’t be disappointed. Sri and his wife are so nice and made sure you feel at home. The rice with milk dessert is good and so is the Chai tea. I would give them 10 stars if I can. Hidden gem. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Didn’t know places like this still exist. Definitely would keep coming back.

If you want over the top customer service and a fancy restaurant feel, this is not the place. BUT if you want good, authentic Indian food, THIS IS THE PLACE! We got a Chicken Thali and Dosa – both were absolutely delicious. This is also the cheapest Indian food I’ve ever gotten in Colorado which is surprising for the quantity we got. I would highly recommend this place any day of the week. If I didn’t live an hour away, I’d be here a few times a week.

A friend and I tried the Indian food buffet over the weekend here. Priced at $12.99 for over 16 items and unlimited made to order dosas, this was a really intriguing offering for us, and the experience delivered!

In an area where every buffet is over $20, Hangout Place is our best choice for an affordable buffet that satisfies. There were four rice options, four veg curries, a couple of non veg items and some chutnies. Great lineup for us vegetarians, meat eaters may be bummed out. There are no desserts. We enjoyed almost all the items and the unlimited dosa was a nice addition! Except for the biryani, the other items were homecooked quality so if you are going in with premium restaurant expectations you will be disappointed.

The interior is just a giant room with squeaky furniture and a projector playing Bollywood videos on loop. The hand wash sink is actually in the corner of the restaurant and visible to those eating. Definitely not complaining at this price point though. We did have to ask for water glasses and then the waiter forgot so we just grabbed unused glasses from another table. We also had to ask for yogurt on the buffet table which they also forgot.

All in all, it was a good experience and given the price, it is absolutely worth it visiting at least once. Their weekday buffet is even cheaper.

Absolutely loved this place! The thali and dosa were truly authentic and reminded me of home-style Indian food. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Indian cuisine. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely LOVED finding this restaurant! The food was incredible. Everything we tried had so much flavor. The spice level was perfect. We didn’t have a single thing we didn’t like! When we arrived, we were greeted immediately and given the chance to ask about different dishes. We were given various things to try as well, on the house, and left completely full and wholly satisfied! Absolutely will be back and would recommend this hidden gem a million times over.

Probably the best Indian food I have had in Colorado. The service was excellent. The owner is a real nice person who actually took the time to talk to us about the establishment. The food, specially the Chicken platter was phenomenal. The first bite of that chicken gravy and the taste buds take you to India. I could sense that this was something I would get back home. It woke up all my taste buds. I drove from Colorado Springs and I can see me doing that frequently.
Best food place with real nice polite people.

I was hungry but it was very late. I call ahead to make sure they would be open. I did not know what to expect. My family enter this fine establishment with an open mind and 3 empty bellies.

The vibe here was casual and family oriented. The wall had a large projection screen, TV displaying Indian music videos. Which was fun and entertaining. The dining area was full of color.

All the entree’s here were created with love and fully authentic. The hand crafted triangle Samosa Chaat is a crispy pastry with a tender warm center. The authentic Chicken Curry is spicy but delicious. This is my first time trying Gongury Mutton. I am glad my server suggested this entree. Chicken Tikka Masala is my favorite dish we ordered hands down. Each dish was paired with a tasty bread. I enjoyed the large portions of each delicious dishes.

The chi tea here changed me. It truly is the best in town. Also the Mango Lassi drink is thick and full of fresh fruit without any extra fillers.

I encourage you to check out my photos.

The chicken boneless biryani was very good, but very spicy.
Tried the unlimited dosa on Tuesday and the family liked it. Pav Bhaji was a favorite, dosas were good too. $10 for kids and $15 for adults.
