Cold Stone is a family favorite. I was visiting family in Idaho and we went for ice cream after dinner. This location had plenty of sitting room inside for all of us to enjoy some quality time talking with ice cream to enjoy together. I tried the Mega Despicamallow special that they have going for Despicable Me 4 right now. It had a Lucky Charm Marshmallow taste to me, I recommend it. The staff wear kind and helpful when wanting to sample flavors and sharing their opinions.

This is the best ice cream in Idaho Falls. Jaycee does a great job and is a master ice cream mixer. There’s plenty of seating and it’s kept very clean. The ice cream is awesome and the caramel apples are great. This is our favorite treat stop in Idaho Falls.

The staff were irritated that customers happened to be there, and they were vocal about it. I purchased an almost $16 container of ice cream that was barely 3/4 full. The girl preparing the order didn’t want to put all the ingredients in the ice cream because “it’s hard to get out of the jar”.

They make a mean ice cream concoction! The girls are fun and upbeat! Watch out though they’ll make you feel like a little girl when they arm wrestle you! They are tough as nails from mixing up all the ice cream day in day out! They didn’t gloat too bad when they bested me though. 5 stars! Gonna keep training so I stand a better chance next time!

Normally, no complaints, but today I got a carmel apple, and the apple was obviously past its prime and had a fizzy-about-to-go-bad taste. So i took the apple back after a few bites and exchanged it. The second apple was about the same, just slightly worse. Apparently, all the apples are being kept on the shelf too long. I’ll just eat this and then stear clear of the carmel apples from now on.
Update: The owners of the store contacted me to try to make it right, and apologize for my bad experience.
I think that any business that is willing to try that hard to help customers is worth visiting.
