We stopped here on our way through town and I’m really glad we did. The bartender served us and he was attentive and helpful. The food far surpassed my expectations, even though I knew they had good reviews. They had a nice selection of beers and cocktails, and the bathrooms were clean and updated. I can’t wait to pass through town again!

Stopped into Half Barrel Saloon in Standish and was blown away. I ordered the wings, and they were perfect — hot, crispy, and full of flavor. Easily some of the best wings I’ve had in the area.
But the surprise highlight? The endless chips and salsa. Fresh, crunchy chips and a salsa that tasted homemade — seriously the best I’ve had at any bar. They kept them coming, and I wasn’t mad about it.
What really made the visit memorable was the service. The owner, Adam, came by to check in on us and was incredibly personable and welcoming. You can tell he truly cares about the place and the people in it.
Great food, great atmosphere, and truly great hospitality. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through Standish.

My wife and I ate here and loved the taco wrap. The fries were also fantastic. Service was great (but we were one half of the guest count when we were there, so I can’t vouch for service when they’re busy)

Great place to grab a burger a bit over priced for the size of portions we where given. However the taste and service was great. Staff was a bit quiet however they were attentive with everything and got our drinks fast. We played some pull tabs while there wich was fun!
Spent a little more than I would have liked for the location and lack of toppings on the burgers. Sweet potato fries came out fresh and hot. However the homemade chips where soggy and not crispy oil must have not been hot enough.
However I still recommend someone to try the brussel sprouts out with bacon balsamic vinegar. Location and placement of bar isn’t the most ideal placement however very well kept up and decent people here.

Great experience. Bathrooms were clean and smelled good. Our bartender was really nice. Bought two scratch off Lions lottery tickets and won enough to pay for our beers and the scratch offs.

Cute place!! Got to know a little history while I was there. The bar is original and gives a vintage flare to the up north bar. Barrel sauce is a must!
