I came to The Halal Joint with my family because we were really craving gyro platters, and this spot had such great reviews that we had to give it a try. The experience did not disappoint.
Nouman, who took our order, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He walked us through the menu and gave great recommendations, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. His friendly attitude made the whole visit even better.
We ordered the Mixed Platter to share and a Chicken Platter for myself. The food came out fresh, hot, and in generous portions. The chicken was perfectly juicy and packed with so much flavor that I didn’t even need white sauce, which is rare for me because I usually love extra sauce. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and grilled just right. The Mixed Platter was also delicious, with a great balance of lamb and beef that was flavorful and not greasy at all.
Everything about this meal was satisfying, from the quality of the food to the excellent service. If you’re looking for authentic, tasty halal food, this is the place to go.

This is the fast food spot of the year. Ive had so many new jersey platters that dont compare. This place officially beat NYC platters as well, everything is delicious, inexpensive, and fast! Everything was fresh and my family loved it. The place was clean and employees super friendly. This place deserves 10 stars, will be coming here every week

Absolutely stunning vibes inside. Decor is phenomenal. The staff and owners are incredible. And the food is awesome. Very flavorful and well seasoned. Delicious food and delightful vibes. Mixed platters are quite the hit and if you like spicy the spicy sauce is *chefs kiss.

Food here is really good and the prices aren’t too high. I used to go here more frequently but they’ve changed their times and it makes it impossible for me to go here as I work 3pm to midnight. Being closed on the weekends is wild, I miss their food.

I went here on my lunch break and I got a mixed platter with chicken and lamb, the platter was overall good. BUT, my ONLY issue and why I’m not rating this place higher. Is the fishy aftertaste I received in a few bites of the platter. Im not sure if the sauce had fish in it. But I personally didn’t like the taste nor was i expecting in a platter. But, I think this place could very good. Still check it out staff was super nice and attentive.

Without a doubt, this is the best halal food in North Jersey. The staff is super friendly and always go above and beyond. I’m so happy I found this place. They just opened and I’ve already been back twice. I got lamb chops over rice and chicken tikka over rice—give it a try, you won’t regret it and you’ll definitely be coming back!
