Tried the falafel bowl at The Halal Guys. The falafel was crispy and flavorful with fresh toppings and sauces. Food was filling and tasty, but the staff experience was not good.

I was very pleased with the generous amount on a small size platter. I also felt very satisfied with the quality of the food and the server. The server’s name is Adam. He was very helpful, nice, customer friendly. I feel so bad that I didn’t leave a tip behind but if anything he deserves a raise! Definitely coming to eat there again and I’d love to have a conversation with him.

Near and dear to my heart ever since I tried it as a food truck in New York a long time ago. Sad the San Mateo location is gone. I wish there was a location near where i live and that more people enjoy it as much as me. The mixture of meat, tomatoes, lettuce, rice, white sauce, and the optional hot sauce is a mouth-watering dream come true. I try to visit every time I’m near Fremont.

While I do enjoy the food, the takeout services and follow up customer service has been terrible. I recently ordered two family meals to serve to family we had over. We get home and realize almost half the ingredients were missing including pita. How can you have this food without pita?? We called them that evening and they said there was nothing they could do. It was quite embarrassing to serve our guests with missing ingredients. We called the manager and he only refunded us $11 for an order that was over $150. He also would t provide any escalation paths when we told him we were not happy with that resolution. They did not have any empathy or accountability for their mistakes. It’s embarrassing for their reputation as well. This is also not the first mistake they’ve made with take out. Very disappointed

3/30/24 Saturday we ordered spicy BBQ chicken regular platter, falafel wrap pricey but delicious. Definitely come back again. Chocolate baklava cheesecake not good taste.

The food taste is good. You should try it’s falafel and chicken platter . Even the kids will love it . The white sauce is very nice.
They have a membership thing also so if you are regular then you can try enrolling yourself in it. Ample parking space outside. Enough seating area inside . They have tables outside also so you can enjoy the food with the weather.

Its name has word Halal lol. Well taste is great definitely it’s not the first time we have tried hala guys but on this outlet yes it was first time. Normally we don’t take salads which actually increases rise quantity… and adding hot sauce is must. This branch has enough dining space for a family. Parking is easily available. Definitely worth a try.

I was happy to this place open up close to home in Fremont. In the popular Pacific Commons (which has so many great food options).
Overall it was good – not quite like the NY location :
Meats were pretty good (not amazing, but good)
Rice was good
Hummus was great – worth the extra
Veggies we’re fresh and good
Pita – not so great
Sauces – pretty good, and the red sauce is SPICY
Over one platter would fill one person up.
