The restaurant was nicely decorated and attached to the hotel I was staying at. The service was really great. I had the risotto tartufo & Prosecco and a side of fingerling potatoes. The risotto was creamy and earthy and had a good amount of truffles. The potatoes were soft and not as crispy as I would like. I also wanted to try the pizza as well. I got te pepperoni. While there was a good crust char…it was kind of cold and chewy and very greasy.
Also had the hotel breakfast during my stay and enjoyed it despite the snafu with my reservation…had to go to the desk to get a copy as I was not on the list. There were plenty of options such as scrambled eggs.. bacon a few types of sausages..pancakes and breakfast sandwiches. Also a variety of breads and muffins and juices. I loved the pear juice.

We had a wonderful dinner at Serafino on 38th & Madison. The beverage program here is excellent; they have a fantastic selection of creative cocktails and equally thoughtful mocktails, alongside a very solid wine list. Dining here was easy, as they offer plenty of great vegetarian options across the menu, spanning appetizers, entrees, and pasta dishes. It’s definitely a popular spot, so reservations are highly recommended to ensure you get a table. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fine dine italian cuisine with friends, family and co-workers.

Stopped in on a Tuesday evening around 9pm with my sister for a quick bite. Was greeted rather abruptly and told the restaurant would be closing at 9.30. No problem for us but found it strange that the hostess was trying to have us leave before even seating us.
From being seated it took a few minutes for water and then a few more minutes for menus to arrive. Maybe ten minutes in total for our order to be taken. Took about 30 mins for our food to arrive in total. We split a pasta and salad. I wish I had a picture of the salad. It was incredibly tiny, given it cost $26. I ordered the zuchinni pasta, hoping it would be somewhat like the Stanley Tucci favorite, alas, I doubt it. Was an interesting flavor but I personally found it greasy and underwhelming.
The waiter was fine but didn’t add anything to our experience. I would not waste time here again in the city – too pricey and front staff too snooty for my liking. We ended up leaving around 10ish – no sign the restaurant closing at that point…
We were excited to try this Serafina because our experience at 777 3rd ave previously had been great – would not return to this location given all I’ve said. The other one is 10x better.

We went on a weeknight and did not need a reservation but there were plenty of other people eating here. The food was fine, nothing remarkable but acceptably prepared and in generous portions that can be shared/eaten family style. The display of the chicken Milanese is really nice and super thinly pounded. I appreciated the endive slices. The pizza was okay, not the best in NYC as some chef on an instagram reel said, because the Di Fabio pizza has American levels of cheese and sauce leaving the center kind of soggy. The service of the restaurant was remarkable, efficient (seating, ordering, receiving food, paying) without feeling rushed, free from errors, and attentive+pleasant but not pushy. I think this restaurant is the perfect non-controversial spot for a seamless meal for small groups to catch up in a nice environment.

I love Serafina I come here on my lunch break at least 3 times a weeks. One day my favorite bartender wasn’t there and honestly whomever this woman is with bad attitude made me want to leave immediately. She so rude. People come in for good drink laughs and great food not her horrible attitude. I’m just going to come when she’s not there. The other guy who bar tends he is amazing great recommendations and when I bring my friends they enjoy his drink and ford recommendations.

Food was good, service was impeccable. The room was crowded and the servers had to go behind us to reach the other table, bumping our chairs all the time, but everything is so tight quarters in NYC that it wasn’t their fault.

Great overall experience. Service was friendly, food was really good and the terrace is really nice. We had the bresaola, penne allá vodka with burrata and the burger. Everything was really good I would highlight the pasta, delicious.

Great location and convenient for my office
Had a wonderful time with my colleague
Had the bruschetta, 7oz. Filet mignon, chocolate mousse
Only nit pick is that I was given a dated desserts menu while my colleague luckily got the latest one, maybe because of age

This location has lots of potential. The customer service was great! Our server Ellie was so accommodating and kind. Truffle fries were outstanding and the calamari was fried to perfection. The vodka penne was just ok. The texture of the noodles was excellent but I added grilled shrimp that was bland and not worth $10. Very small and no more than 5 small shrimp. Some were even cut in half. I recommend getting clarification before adding a protein. I would return to try other dishes.
