Wow, so filling! But in a good way. My chicken gyro was well built with a thick wrapper (pita? Idk what it’s called) and lots of veggies, chicken, and sauce. The fries were super hot, literally out of the fryer onto my plate after a quick toss in some seasoning.

This is the second time in a row that I’ve ordered from this location only to pull hair out from the food I just put in my mouth. It’s absolutely disgusting and destroys my appetite. Serious problem that needs to stop. I appreciate the portion size and friendliness of the employees compared to other nearby locations but you’re going to lose a regular customer of over 10 years cuz of this nastiness

The Halal Guys are a solid option overall. Portions are usually large, which is a big plus, and it’s filling for the price.

That said, compared to other halal gyro spots, the meat is on the milder side and feels a bit under-spiced. Flavor-wise, it doesn’t always stand out if you’re used to bolder seasoning.

Where they really shine is the white sauce, easily one of the best, and the fact that it’s non-dairy is a huge bonus. You generally can’t go wrong here, just keep realistic expectations with the bowl.

I’ve tried this Halal Guys location a couple of times, but I didn’t really like the taste. Compared to other Halal Guys locations I’ve been to, this one ranks lower for me. The food just didn’t meet my expectations.

The one positive is their hours—they’re open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends, which is later than most other restaurants in the same block. That convenience is nice, but overall the food quality could be better.

After craving a gyro for several days, I decided to try one at a local restaurant, which I discovered through a Google search.

The restaurant’s ambiance was pleasing, with clean and tidy surroundings. I liked yellow and red as accent colors, which are also colors in its logo.

I ordered a beef gyro and a chicken shawarma to go. The beef gyro featured fresh tomatoes and beef pieces on a fluffy gyro, and while the flavors were fresh, the overall taste was somewhat bland. Although white sauce and hot sauce were added, I found it a bit difficult to swallow towards the end of each bite due to lack of taste. The chicken shawarma gyro had a slightly better taste but lacked depth, possibly needing more sauce or seasoning.

Both gyros were prepared quickly, and while the experience was just ok, it didn’t leave a lasting impression.

I usually love halal guys and have been to multiple locations but I got their chicken wings yesterday (2/1/2026) and have had food poisoning over the last 24 hours. I’m guessing the meat was not fully cooked, not sure if I’ll be able to come back.

Pretty good but the woman worker serving on morning shifts during the week gives very little portions and doesn’t smile at all

Why only 4 stars? Should be 5 stars. This location tastes better than other halal guy locations in the dmv. Their chicken and beef here are excellent. The only i dont like is how their price seems to go up every year. Please put an end to it.

Great franchise location very clean. Some of the meat and chicken took a while to cook when we came at night. This location is located right by the metro parking can be tight. Food and flavor is on point. Still prefer my NYC carts tho

Park at the harris teeter garage next door which has a 2 hour limit for free. Chicken platter is pretty good, i felt small is good enough for a person, try hummus side with some fresh pita its awesome. Warning ⚠️ If u want red sauce its hot not just white people hot, its brown hot. Prices are decent, overall maintenance and cleanliness is fair.
