SUPER BLAND! Food is super bland. no flavor. Just sucks. Second time coming. Still bland. Honesty dont know why people are eating here. Food had no flavor whatsoever. The White sauce couldn’t even help it… that too was bland.

The food here is sadly not great. It was just eh. Like there’s no lamb, just beef or chicken. It’s sad that the street carts of NYC that are dirty are far better than this chain. I was actually excited to try this for the first time I went with a colleague and we were both seriously underwhelmed. If you’re eating just to get something in you and it not be that great this is a good option. The rice was bland and flavorless. The meat was dry. The only thing that really wasn’t terrible was the baklava and they probably don’t even make it there fresh.

This is located in the king of prussia and next to the Target store. I have been planning to try their food and eventually did as they were open late nights. On a Friday night around 10.30, I pulled in front and noticed they still got at least 6 other customers in the store. The parking lot is shared and sufficient. The restaurant is a small one primarily focused on takeout, but they do have some seating options available. But don’t expect formal dining.
I walked up to the ordering area and decided to go with chicken combo bowl and white dressing. The process was kept simple, like how you order in Chipotle style.
Coming to the taste of food, the rice tastes very fresh and tasty with some flavors in it. It was served very hot. The pita bread tasted good. The sauces tasted good. The additions like lettuce, tomatoes, etc. tasted okay, not fresh. The chicken tasted very mediocre to me. It’s probably its a late night and tasted very bland and old to me. But overall, the portions were huge and priced right. I will definitely give them one more try.

I got a platter with beef and baklava, and it was amazing. They didn’t have hummus, which is a total must.

went in for a quick bite but seriously had the best meal!!! I had the platter of chicken and beef, it was beyond delicious. I never raved about falafel ever but they make the best one. they have a white sauce which was quite good. There were two people managing it and did it really fast. will def visit again!!

Let me start by saying I love the food at The Halal Guys so much that I ate there pretty much 4/4 nights a week for a year straight after work before trimming it back. I’ve never done that with any other restaurant. The gentleman I spoke to leaving the restaurant the other night said he drove 40 minutes to come enjoy the food.
All of the food is very fresh. They are always cooking fresh chicken and beef. All the veggies are a great addition to the platter along with the fresh rice that is always being replenished. The hummus is very good and when you add the chili based hot sauce and mix it up, it’s heaven. For those who can’t handle the heat, there’s their very popular “white sauce”. King of Prussia is always very busy.
Please do not let “Bobby Bobby” deter you from going to The Halal guys. He clearly doesn’t understand the restaurant business……no crime. Look at his bowl. It has chicken and rice ONLY. Evidently he thinks since he is afraid of eating veggies that the rest of his bowl should be filled with extra meat. Sorry Bobby Bobby; that is not how any restaurant works. This place gives a ton of food. I rarely finish my small bowl and have never ordered a large one.
In this business you could have the best product and location but take away top notch customer service and a highly dedicated GM/owner and get ready for your “Grand Closing”.
Caesar has been the GM at KOP for years now and I’ve never seen him have a bad day. He always has a smile on his face and treats all of his customers with the utmost respect. His customer service is exceptional. This is extremely rare. How do I know this? 35 years in the restaurant industry. Hail Caesar!!
