So, it should be a known fact that halal food in general is slightly more expensive than regular food. Higher production costs and strict certification. However, halal burgers are very reasonable in pricing and they’re very juicy. They’re a little less than those American gourmet burgers ($15-17).
There is parking in the back as well as some on the left side. This is not a fancy looking place, it’s more of a hole in the wall. Lower your expectations because you’re here for the food, nothing else. The staff was nice and helpful. I ordered a mango lassi, gladiator burger, and cowboy (with an extra patty). The mango lassi was good. The burgers were huge so I got my money’s worth. I ordered mine medium rare.
-gladiator 5 – it had double patties, halal turkey bacon, eggs, coleslaw, etc. It was perfect and very palatable. I really liked that CEO sauce.
-cowboy 3.5 – it has a lot of similar ingredients as the gladiator except it has onion rings, no eggs or coleslaw, and bbq sauce. For some reason, the patties taste different from the gladiator, it was kind of bland. Everything else tasted fine.

This place has everything you want — delicious food, super clean space, and friendly service. You can tell they take pride in quality and authenticity, from their certified halal meat to the way everything is prepared fresh and served hot. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, and the fries are always crispy and perfectly seasoned. The whole restaurant gives off a welcoming vibe, and it’s clear they care about their customers. Definitely one of the best halal burger spots around! Highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and great people.

We stopped by The Halal Birger in Villa Park because, let’s be honest, “eating healthy” is more of a suggestion than a rule. We ordered like we hadn’t eaten in days — the bacon cheeseburger, classic birger, gladiator, fire burger, and of course, the gyro fries to seal our fate. Every bite was delicious. The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and totally worth the food coma that followed.
Now, the place itself… let’s just say it’s more “good burger joint” than “fine dining.” The bathroom and tables could use a little extra love, but hey — we came for the food, not an interior design tour. The service was okay; the guy at the counter was helpful, but we did have to chase down napkins, utensils, and even our drinks like we were on a scavenger hunt.
Still, the food more than made up for it. Definitely one of those spots where eating in is the move — those burgers deserve to be enjoyed fresh and hot. Four stars because the food was and I’m still thinking about those gyro fries (and also my diet, may it rest in peace).

My cousin Emad brought me here hyping up the Fireball Burger, and honestly it was even better than he said. Everything was so good the burger was juicy, spicy, and full of flavor without being too much. The cheese, jalapeños, and sauce all hit, and the bun was perfect. The price is really decent, especially for a double patty. On top of that, the owner Faraz was super kind and welcoming. Definitely worth it and I’d 100% come back.

You can find many other sandwiches that you may like, the staff are so friendly, you can get some special juices, and there are many free parking.

Already had dinner but came with friends to try the top selling burgers. Every one of them delivered. Balanced flavors, no weak links. We left, but it didn’t feel right, so we went back in for more. I personally liked the Fireball Burger. Easily one of the best I’ve had in recent times. Bun held up, patty stayed juicy, the sauce in right proportion. A burger engineered right.
