First visit to this establishment and I was not disappointed. Burgers are great, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very friendly and quiet. Bought the BYO family char burger deal with 2 sides of onion rings and 2 sides of chicken bites. Excellent onion rings and very good sauces included. Sat outside and was pleasantly surprised to find a heater there. Will be back within the next 3 days. Highly recommended.

Was visiting family and had heard about Habit being competition for In-N-Out so was excited to try it since there isn’t any close to where I live. We decided to try it while near it and was very disappointed. First off when we went it there wasn’t a lot of people in and our order was taken fairly quickly…but it took way too long to get our food. Other customers were having to tell each other to go check if their food was ready just sitting there. I noticed that when they are prepping orders they will put whatever is ready on the counter by the kitchen. They had trays of food-fries, onion rings and tempura green beans just sitting there cooling off and getting stale while they are getting the rest of the food ready. For only a few orders ahead of ours it took almost 15 mins for me to finally check and notice our food was sitting on that same counter with the employees having no idea that it was ready and to call out our number. When I finally got the food, I ordered the Double Char Burger, lettuce wrapped, my wife got the single the same way and my mom ordered the Ahi Tuna Filet. We also got an order of fries and the tempura green beans. I tried some fries and they weren’t fresh and weren’t good. When I went to try my burger I noticed there was mold on my lettuce. As I inspected it and was pulling it off my burger I also noticed a bug on it. So I set those pieces off to the side and inspected more of my burger, and found more bugs. On top of that there was like a 1/4 inch layer of mayo which was way too much.
The Ahi Tuna Filet was also not good at all. It seemed old and overcooked.
On top of all of the food, the dining area was a mess also. Nothing had been stocked, the Tea was empty, the ketchup was empty, the tables were all dirty and the garbage was full. I was wondering if it was just really close to closing as to why stuff hadn’t been restocked, but I looked it up and they were open for over 3 more hours.
The employees in this place all looked miserable and that could explain the issues, but something needs to be done about it. I also left my phone number with the shift manager to have the store manager call me, which never happened.
All in all very disappointing place. I would stick with In-N-Out myself.

Burgers are good every time I have purchased them. I tend to go for the double char meal. The cost ~15.00 for a solid meal. When the fast food chains cost similar, might as well go to a much better choice like the habit. Drive through is convent when going during the work week. Employees have been friendly when ordering. Burgers taste good as well as the sides. I recommend trying the habit!

I was disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered two sliders and the portion size was shockingly small for the price point. Each slider was essentially two bites, which feels more like a gimmick to mask rising prices than a fair offering of value.
The presentation and assembly were also poor. The cheese was not melted and was sticking out of the bun, the burgers were missing pickles despite being shown in the menu photos, and the overall build looked rushed and sloppy. When I pointed out the missing pickles, I was offered a side of pickles or a remake. While I appreciate the offer, basic order accuracy and proper assembly should be standard and not something the customer has to request correction for. I threw the food out as it didnt look safe temperature wise for consumption.
This location used to deliver consistent quality, but the current execution does not match the price point. I understand teams can be busy or understaffed, but these are fundamentals: portion size, correct ingredients, proper assembly, and presentation.
At the current price, this experience did not meet reasonable expectations. I hope management reviews portioning standards and quality control at this location.

Very good food. Burgers are cooked to order which takes a bit longer than a normal fast food place but it’s well worth the wait. The deep fried green beans are the real reason to show up. Fried green beans and there spicy ranch is a meal in itself. Give them a try you won’t be sorry.

I loved this place mostly but the only reason for me giving 4 stars is because the wait time was pretty long considering the small amount of people who were ordering. However, the food was delicious and very gyatt.

I have been going to the habit in Santa Barbar my whole life. This one in Reno is doing everything right. The team was friendly and fast. Pepper bar, charburger to perfection. Chefs kiss 😉 we’ll be back.

Would be 5 stars if they fixed their soda machines. Other than that, everybody should try the $10 gotta habit meal. It’s delicious and I hope they keep it on the menu long term. First time I went to Habit & the fries were actually hot & fresh and salted, really love this location a lot. The staff are always very friendly and helpful as well. Will be back soon!
