Our ladies’ group visited the restaurant for dinner this evening. The staff was absolutely delightful. Very willing to explain their dishes to us and even offered samples to help us make our individual decisions. The food was very flavorful and we really enjoyed the experience overall. Hidden little gem.

In a word, fantastic. I ordered the golden tibs lunch and it was so delicious.
The beef cubes were actually quite tender and full of flavor. The sauce they are smothered in has an incredible flavor. The rosemary is not dominant, but definitely noticeable. Just an incredibly balanced flavor.
Then you dip it in the seasoning they offer on the side. That stuff has some serious kick. I loved it. It allows for the perfect amount of heat.
Also I had a couple bottles of Asmara lager to go with it. It’s a solid beer that I would be happy to drink again.
Sadly, they did not have the sambusa today. I really wanted to order it, but it was not availbale.
All in all though, fantastic place. This was a great decision for lunch and I will definitely be back.

An incredible new updated look, vibe and meal!! Service was amazing, and food was beyond bomb.So delicious fresh and rich in flavour. We got the 3 platters GODEN TIBS is a must have, Gomen be-sega and dorowot (short ribs, collard green and chicken stew) which was plenty for 3 very hungry people . Best of all is the owners, full of joy and charisma. Later we noted that not only did we enjoy the flavors, it felt so nourishing and made us feel good, Plus a bar with beer and liquor

Funky, welcoming restaurant out of yesteryear. I asked our server for her recommendation, and she thoughtfully came through based on my general tastes. My teenager loved his vegetarian platter, tastes of each veggie dish offered. I loved the beef and peppers, beautifully flavored with sprigs of Rosemary…can’t recall the name.

So much flavor and food!! Everything is delicious. Good prices for the amount of food you get. The food normally takes awhile to come out. They also burn incense inside so if you have any lung issues or asthma be cautious. One of my fav spots in Columbus

This was my first and I was amazed. I’ve been to the competition and this restaurant moves to the top of my list. First and foremost the drink order was delivered promptly. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions with a smile. While it takes a few minutes to get your order, it’s worth the wait. Everything was flavorful and fresh. I thought it could be spicier, but that’s not a negative. It tasted wonderful. I tried Zilzil for the first time and my wife had the combination platter. Everything was amazing.
If you want good food in a nice atmosphere, please try this place. I’m going to be a regular.

I had such a great experience at Habesha Restaurant! The Goden Tibs were delicious and the Vegetarian Combo was full of rich, vibrant flavors.Everything was beautifully presented and so fresh.
The staff were friendly and made the atmosphere relaxed.If you’re looking for authentic Ethiopian food that’s full of flavor and served with genuine hospitality, I definitely recommend Habesha. I’ll be coming back soon!

I like the food and service is good.Sometimes they mess up my order. I do not like the loud music when I go there to pick up my food. At the same time, I don’t think I could eat with that kind of loud music. the last time I got charged $22 for order, that was $17 . I asked why I was told because of the owner, and I don’t appreciate it to get charged extra.
