I recently stumbled upon The Gyro Grill in Plantation, FL, when I was craving a gyro and fries. When we first pulled up, the place looked pretty quiet—no other customers in sight, which made us hesitate for a moment. However, my husband suggested we give it a try since we were already there, and I’m so glad we did!
I ordered the Gyro Pita combo with fries, and my husband went for the Gyro platter. Not only were the prices reasonable, but the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous—definitely not skimping on anything. The crinkle-cut fries were perfectly crispy and hit the spot just right.
The restaurant itself is a bit dated, but it was clean and well-maintained, which is what really matters. If you’re in the area and craving a good gyro or some tasty fries, I highly recommend checking out The Gyro Grill. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Excellent no frills Greek food. Very nice staff. We had a beef and Lamb gyro with a side of fries. Very filling and tasty, good portions. Eat in or take out. Plenty of parking.
Probably the best Gyros in Plantation. Very clean.
Keep in mind they are closed Saturdays and Sundays. Fully recommended.

I was in the area and stopped in for spanokopita snack. The spanokopita was ultra delicious and cooked to perfection! The premises was immaculate and I noticed they received the Local 10 News Clean Plate Award. Very impressive! I highly recommend this restaurant for take out!

Food is very fresh, the cook takes time to prepare it like a little piece of art. Clearly they take pride in what they serve. Service: The lady taking my order over the phone heard me say that I was buying an extra order plate for work so she bagged my work lunch separately without me asking her to do that. I mean, these folks are next level amazing. I eat here every chance I get.

Pro: I love the food and service in this place, the food is always fresh, made to order quickly incredibly delicious and comes in nice, large portions. The very kind workers present that treat you like a good friend really make this place feel homely. The place is very clean, open and organized.
Con: I definitely think that they should get their machine fixed up. I have never been able to pay with my phone here, I’ve always had to use a card, or cash and checking out with the card is somewhat difficult since the machine seems to be very sensitive to dust.
Wrap up: As long as you come prepared with cash or don’t mind a bit of a loop around with wiping down your card, this place is fantastic. PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS MINOR INCONVENIENCE DISCOURAGE YOU, these wonder, humble, people deserve your business.

The pita gyros are delicious. Great portion and fresh ingredients.
Only reason it’s not five stars is because sometimes (I order takeout), the fries aren’t hot and crispy as they are most of the time … not at all. I wish they’d be good every time. When they are good they’re great!
