The beautiful gal that helped us was fantastic.
Very expansive industrial vibe. Phenomenal Athenian. My only complaint – every table was dirty.

This is the SPOT. If you want authentic but able to add your own flair, come here asap. The spicy feta, tzatziki, FALAFEL! The grilled veggies are perfection. This has been a staple for years and never disappoints. Their falafel is so soft I can’t even describe it, you just need to come here for yourselves. 10/10

Great spot for fresh Mediterranean dishes. It’s quick and delicious with a good selection of Greek dishes. I had the Greek salad with lamb and it was plenty of food for me.
The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean.
I would definitely recommend when you’re looking for a good meal and a reasonable price.

Really enjoyed my falafel wrap today. Only reason not 5 star is the actual falafel was a tad too crispy but absolutely will be back!

Cleanness: 10/10
Food freshness: 10/10
Food taste: 5/10 (Chicken Gyro).
Price: Fair and good (9/10)
Transparency: 3/10 (menu does not have prices on them)!

Also, after ordering my food the lady at the register added about 99 cents because my sandwich included olives!!

As for myself, I won’t be coming back, but this place might still be a good option for someone else.

The food was good, but the experience of ordering was awkward. It was strange to me that there were no prices on their menu, and very little direction from the staff on how to order. There were no paper menus to look at and the menu board behind the counter was very dim and hard to read. We all ordered sandwiches, and our bill was over $20 each, which seemed high to me. The dinning room was clean and had plenty of space for our large group.

There aren’t many places on the south shore exactly like Gyro Co. They have pitas and bowls and a great selection of meats, veggies, and sauces. There are pre-set pitas and bowls as well as options for building your own meal. The food is always very fresh and the employees are working hard preparing food throughout the day. I’ve never had an experience where any item felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp, which can happen when this many fresh ingredients need to be prepared.

The Athenian is easily the best thing on the menu. The perfectly tender rotisserie pork is stuffed into a warm pita along with French fries. I’m a sucker for any double carb situation and this pita is the king. The Thessa is also a great choice with the tangy sauce and chicken gyros. The Greek Salata is also a wonderful choice with a lot of fresh ingredients that pairs great with the chicken gyros. You can order a side of pita with a few dipping sauces, but the best one is easily the spicy feta. They also have a great selection of Greek beverages in the cooler as well as desserts such as baklava and assorted cakes and pies. I wasn’t a fan of their avgolemono soup which felt a bit underwhelming in terms of seasoning and flavor.

The staff is always pretty friendly, the portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious. The quality is fairly consistent, but there is often a long wait. Even when ordering ahead the food can take 15-30 minutes longer. This is usually because they ran out of an ingredient and something needs to be prepared fresh, which is understandable, but it has happened several times. This isn’t every time, but it can be hit or miss when it does happen. The food is great and definitely worth it, but keep this in mind if you’re in a hurry.

We absolutely love this place! When we’re craving a Gyro we drive here from the Cape. We just returned from a month long vacation in Greece and this is just like the Gyros there with better tzatziki! Fantastic family!

Maybe they were having a bad day. They don’t take phone orders. You must order online + online ordering didn’t work. So I went there in person to order.
What I really wanted was going to take longer to cook + I was in a hurry. So I settled for a chicken pita which was quick. The chicken was like dried chips of chicken. Crunchy. But not in a good way. No flavor. It was awful.
Maybe if they took my order when I called it would have been fresher/better. But I’ll never know now.
The place was clean + pleasant to look at but the music was so loud I couldn’t hear the waitress at the counter.

So listen, I haven’t even EATEN this yet and I’m rating 5 stars. My new GO TO spot. Seriously it’s still sitting in the container at home and I can already tell just by the smell I WILL be coming BACK. Haha. I’m going for my birthday here next year.

My wife (who is a very picky eater and a bit of an invalid) LOVES this place, she’ll get it 2-3 times a WEEK. Go check this place out now.
