The Gulch is a real happening downtown Yellow Springs hotspot. With a non-stop R&B DJ, you almost cannot get in or out without dancing. Quite a decent varied age crowd with a lot of positive energy.

Shout out to bartender Kim, who is amazing. My name is Karen Stump. I went to see Chappelle show on Thursday had pulled my sciatic nerve and bless her kind heart. She gave me a bag of ice to put on it unfortunately, Kim by the time we got to the show I couldn’t walk Please help me through security and find a seat and had to leave early and they escorted me back to the car everyone was so kind and Chappelle was amazing but the pain never let up and I end up having to go to the ER but what great people in yellow Springs Kim you were awesome Thank you for the bottom of my heart

The supposed owner accosted me and my partner in the alley with his large vehicle and told us to leave, pretty sure because we were dressed like hippies.
He said some crap about not loitering but we were literally just looking through their bottles that we had JUST seen another guy take a crate of. We asked him and he said they’re free daily.
This supposed owner pulled within inches of us in an attempt to intimidate us.
The bar was closed and the man had a suspicious number of empty bottles in his backseat. Local alcoholic getting the last drops out of liquor bottles?
I’m not sure, but I called the police and they said all trash on public property is free to take and leaving it piled next to your trash can is clearly free to take, plus that other man said he gets them all the time. They said no one is allowed to use their vehicle as a weapon like that and to call back if it happened again.
What a weird rude guy. Be careful in that alley.

One of my favorite places to stop while in Yellowsprings. Great drinks, awesome bartenders and a good collections of patrons. Pool tables and an outside seating for those warm days you want to drink outside. The beer is always frosty cold.
