Hands down, the best place I’ve eaten in P-town. The minute I walked in I was like a fat kid in a candy store. It was such a hard decision to make due to the fact I was drooling over every item on the menu. The chef de la cuisine had to make a decision for me. He whipped me up “The Cowgirl” Man! The fries were spot on. Dipping sauces, sigh, so good! The service was top notch. Very helpful. Some places I’ve been to, the theme song from the walking dead starts playing. This place is ALIVE! Thanks to the crew for making this the highlight of my trip. Superbly excucuted! If your in P-town, you have to make it to this Gem. You will not regret it. Next time we come back, yeah, I’m hitting that. Not sure why this place hasn’t been on TV. Big thanks again to the amazing crew with big personalities ❤️. I wished I lived here #diabetes

The best grilled cheese I’ve ever had! Every option on their menu looked so delicious it was hard to choose. I stuck with the classic Amsterdam and it was incredible! The blend of cheeses was delicious and it was toasted to perfection. The presentation was super fun when they brought it out. The shop is also super cute, and has great music and fun vibes. Can’t wait to go back!

We visited on a Monday in mid-June 2025 for lunch. The restaurant was listed as opening at 11AM but the main cook was running late. There was at least one other group waiting with us for the restaurant to open and they made us wait outside.
When they finally did open, it was a constant stream of people going in and out while we ate outside. We order take out but wanted the option to take our food with us if it took to long and we needed to move on. Thank goodness the food was so delicious we ate it all up super fast! haha.
There wasn’t any parking right at the restaurant. There was street parking and a lot which I think you both had to pay for.
Extra kudos to the staff and the possible owner/manager who kept walking around asking how the food was. He was very engaging with our kids and we told him our youngest was the one who picked the restaurant (because he loves grilled cheeses). On our takeout order he called for “Sir William!” who he wrote in giant letters on our bag. My kid got a super kick out of that.
The decor in the restaurant was also amazing. We took multiple photos with the giant inflatable rainbow unicorn. It was the best. Rainbow unicorns have been a thing of mine since elementary school and I’m so glad they had this in the middle of their restaurant.
We ordered:
– Mac Daddy
– Chesterfield
– Queen Brie
– Southern Belle
– Loaded steak melt
Everything was good and we’d order all of it again. The best part was it’s the most reasonably priced food in town too. SO budget friendly AND delicious! We actually had a local working at the Pilgrim Monument tell us about this place too but we already knew we were stopping by. So it’s loved by locals and tourist!
The only negative was the opening late but since our overall experience was so great, we’d happily come and eat here again and recommend it to others. I did notice after looking back at my photos that the prices for the sandwiches are not listed on any of the outdoor or indoor signs. That’s also a little annoying.

Best Grilled Cheese I have ever had! I have never been much of a grilled cheese guy, but this place blew me away with the flavor of their grilled cheese sandwiches. The sandwiches are very cheesy and pair well with the sauces given. I highly recommend the stake grilled cheese or the southern belle sandwich. The side of fries also compliments the meal really well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you Antonia for being so helpful and kind!

They do grilled cheeses right! We got the Chesterfield with the regular poutine fries. Grilled cheese was so delicious, the fries were just average but still good. Definitely a place you have to try!

The best grilled cheese ever!! We got the Mac daddy and the Artist and they were both delish. Also HIGHLY recommend the lavender lemonade. Service was amazing as well, will definitely be coming back.

When I tell you this was the best grilled cheese of my life, it’s no exaggeration. I ordered the Mac Daddy and fries. It was wonderful and it also came with a small cup of tomato soup for dipping which I loved. The fries also came out with fry sauce and ketchup that I didn’t even have to ask for. The vibes and atmosphere here are great. I did a whale watching tour and afterwards this place was so easy to access right off the boat and a short walk away. I highly recommend and look forward to coming back again!

What a pleasant lunch at The Grilled Cheese Gallery! We both had DELICIOUS sandwiches: the lobster grilled cheese and the pulled pork one. Again, both were delicious, no notes, full stop. They each also came with the cutest small cup of tomato soup to dip in. Please go, and I will be back!

It’s a fun and vibrant small eatery! The menu is appealing and well thought out. With each perfectly buttery toasted grilled cheese variation, they serve a tomato dipping sauce. Their fries are perfectly crispy and lightly salted, but I wish they included more since they are an additional cost as a side. They make fresh pink lemonade that wasn’t too sweet or bitter and unsweetened raspberry iced tea. Both are refreshing on a hot day. The young man who took our order was pleasant and even checked on us when we moved outside to eat since it was getting a bit crowded. It’s definitely a must for lunch when in Provincetown. I only wish I tried one of their grilled mac n cheese sandwiches, too! Bonus: It’s conveniently located by the shuttle buses and public restrooms.
