Excellent! The largest, most complex grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever seen! So many to choose from and so delicious. Fries too. Definitely do not miss the Grilled Cheese Bistro when in Norfolk. The hot mulled wine was outstanding too and served with fresh orange garnish and a cinnamon stick. Excellent!

First time ever here and was on vacation. The food was outstanding. I did the one with Mac anf cheese and added bacon and corn. O.M.G. out of this world.
Service was great until the end. Our server was super attentive but then must have gotten side tracked because we ended up flagging down another employee for a to go box.
Atmosphere wasn’t my vibe at all. For starters, if this place is so popular why not expand. They were PACKED and as we were leaving had a line out the door. This made for an uncomfortable experience. Lastly, as we were leaving a homeless man came in. An employee was asking the man to leave. It created a huge scene and we couldn’t even get by the leave due to the situation and tight quarters.
All in all, if I were to go back I would order to go.

Absolutely love this place. The vibe is immaculate. The food is great. I highly recommend the smoked sea salt fries (I order these for the table every time I introduce someone new to the place). They do have odd hours, and it’s almost always busy. They have indoor and outdoor seating, although it’s a small venue inside, so I try to sit outside when I can. The staff is super friendly and attentive.

Oh my gosh! Food was absolutely fantastic! Hand cut fries were crispy and the aioli sauce was yummy. Portions are huge! Fries could easily feed 3-4 people. Sandwiches are tasty and toasted to perfection, also very big. Amazing! Pricing is spot on with portion sizes and uniqueness of menu. Very small spot and was crowded when we went on a Saturday night. Definitely worth it and will be back for sure! They offer beers on tap and some signature cocktails or “sispies” as they call them. Highly recommend checking this place out if in the area.

Cute little bistro close to all the things in Norfolk! Stopped in for brunch before a theater show & was not disappointed. The Fall for Giuseppe and Parmesan Chimichurri hand cut fries were AMAZING. Great flavor combinations, perfectly prepared with quality ingredients. Huge portions, definitely shareable & worth the price. My waitress was attentive without being overbearing & friendly. Restrooms were clean. The menu changes seasonally, and I look forward to checking them out this summer.

Grilled Cheese Bistro is exactly that – a quaint spot with grilled cheese sandwiches that are taken to the next level. You can’t go wrong with any of these sandwiches, but I highly recommend the Loaded Baked Potato grilled cheese. Even though this sandwich has fries on it, you’ll regret it if you skip getting a side order of fries. The inside of this bistro is kind of small, and it has cute counter seating at the front window. It also has outside sidewalk seating, which is a great option on a nice day. As far as parking, there’s on street parking up and down Granby Street.

I had the Burboun st chicken GC. Excellent, Fried pickles excellent.. The staff and chefs were just excellent.. The food banging, slamming, on point!!! I was so eager didn’t take pictures.. A definite do-over!!! I wanted to try the sticky piggy.. but they were out of thenpork belly.. but that gives me another reason to come back!!! Thank you GCb!!
