I have not yet to have the experience of being a “dine-in” customer here. No specific reason for that. Although, I have had plenty of experience when it comes to calling my order in for pick up, when I am on my lunch hour. That being said, the staff here are always great with answering my “call in” promptly. My order has always been ready, no later than the estimated wait time they will provide. My order has always been correct & just as I have requested. They NEVER forget my cocktail sauce. That’s always a plus. I have been getting this same plate order, once to twice a week for a while now. Most importantly, the food never disappoints & gets tastier each time I order take out here.

I really enjoy the seafood here and the prices were pretty fair. My son and I went in for dinner and had great service and didn’t have to wait. The only downside would be this is a very local place and get eyes if your not from there and can be very confusing to find a seat if busy because everyone seems to have their normal seat with no host to help out.

When I entered the building the first thing I saw was a lot of blank stares from many many tables. Then I started looking around and I see that it’s full of local people but they don’t have any meals and they are drastically waiting on them. And it was super quiet in there. No music no talking everybody seem to be waiting for something to eat. We sat down and open table and ordered our drinks. Then we ordered an appetizer which did not take long to come out. Also after that was delivered we ordered our lunch. Again it really did not take that long. So I’m not sure what all the blank stares were for. Two of us had the barbecue sandwich from one head the fried shrimp. The shrimp were excellent but the barbecue pork sandwich tasted like oven baked. It was okay to eat though. Sweet potato fries were good, french fries were also good. This is a fairly big place to sit down and eat at, but while I was there I only witnessed one server for the entire establishment. She worked her butt off and deserve everything she got. I was just in the mood to stop in for some barbecue and thought this place was it but maybe not. I will say though they have the freshest oysters around this area. I see they shuck them in front of you at the bar. They are probably a very good seafood place to go. I won’t hold it against them on the barbecue.

Dash order. Portions were small, claimed onions sautéed but were still raw. Advertised baked beans but were pork n beans. Was raised on pork & beans, we know the difference. Even my son agreed it was NOT baked beans. As for onions, should not pop under the fork.

The grouper was very well seasoned and cooked, the smaller scallops were perfect but the larger ones just a bit over. Still better than most restaurants.

Really good lunch specials. Today I had the 1/2 lb of shrimp (blackened) with blackened potatoes & salad. The price for the lunch special was $14.95 and it was so good. Lot of locals eat lunch there.

Went here on a Saturday evening around 3 PM. Me & my boyfriend came in there & we were not spoken to & while leaving nobody said a word & it was only 2 other customers in there. None of the people that work there said, “have a good day”, “come back & see us” or nothing. Meanwhile, we were nothing but nice, respectful, & even gave a nice tip. There was an older guy behind the bar shucking oysters, & he said it loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear, but he made a statement about a customer that was in there days prior & brought up his skin color. That is stuff you don’t talk about in a restaurant where all people should be welcome. Basically what I’m saying is, if you are not white, this is not a restaurant you would like to go to. As you see I am an avid Google reviewer, & I like to enjoy my food & customer service. This place still thinks it’s 1933!

Our first time eating at this establishment.
Excellent service and assistance from our server by recommending some menu items.
Food was delivered quickly. Cooked to order. Hot and very good. I had 3 fried catfish filets and wife had hamburger steak with onions and gravy. Fish was flaky and not greasy. Very nice!
Plenty of food. We didn’t leave hungry.
We’ll be back for sure. It was real nice finding a good, LOCAL restaurant in Headland.

I had the frog legs and they were great. Of all the places that I’ve eaten frog legs I would rate them at about a 9 out of 10! The waitresses and service was great and so was the atmosphere! I would definitely eat there again when I come down from Tennessee!
