Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had this summer. The jalapeño bacon smash burger was next-level — juicy, perfectly seasoned, with just the right kick from the jalapeños and crispy bacon. Golden, crispy, fries full of flavor. And to top it all off, you’re enjoying it lakeside with an unbeatable view. Great food, great vibes, and worth every bite! Oh and you can never go wrong with the classic burger.

We finally went today! To the Grill Father! The owner Ryan is a very, very personable, nice guy. His detail and ongoing cleanliness around his grill environment is amazing! I tend to notice these things being in health care. The most amazing thing is the food and Ryan’s attention to detail! The eye appealing and completely mouthwatering food is to utterly die for. We had a moist and delicious fried Chicken sandwich (we could have picked grilled) with fresh lettuce, pickles with a sumptuous white sauce on a fresh bun, that was branded with a GF! See picture! It was out of this world. We picked it because a man was just leaving that told us we just needed to get that, he had just ate it and said it was the best ever! Kudos to him, he didn’t stear us wrong.
Also the Fresh Cut French Fries were awesome, with some skin on them still and if I’m not right… I think sea salt crystals! Cooked to perfection! I took that picture after we ate a bunch, so do not look at that for portion size. It was a nice size for two! Also, his lovely daughter made chocolate cupcakes that were so moist and delicious… he gave us 2 for free! So sweet! Hats off to her for her baking skills as well.

We stopped by to grab food after visiting the claws n paws animal center with our daughter. The food was absolutely incredible! My husband got the signature burger and I got the fried chicken sandwich! Sensational! The owner was the nicest guy ever! Forgot to take photos because we were too busy eating our food— delectable!

I don’t normally feel compelled to leave reviews for places but I have to say as someone who’s favorite food is a burger no matter where I go that’s what I get does it matter what kind of restaurant what kind of place if there’s a burger that’s what I want with the exception of the steakhouse but I just wanted to say if you’re someone like me who passes by constantly sees it and is thinking about it this review is your sign to stop thinking about it and go and treat your taste buds because it has to be one of the best burger places around for smash burgers and even something like onion rings I will admit that the smashburger was perfect the flavor was really good and the onion rings were perfect my interactions with staff is was pleasant very polite and the food did not take very long to cook bun lightly toasted cheese perfectly melted what more could you ask for on a smashburger and then he has to be using decent ingredients because it was all really good and I couldn’t recommend this place any more! and I would recommend actually going there the atmosphere is very clean very friendly the food just hits the spot you won’t regret it one bit it is well worth the price.

We have been to the Grillfather twice now & the food is OUTRAGEOUSLY delicious! The smash burgers are the best burgers we’ve ever had. The fries are incredible. Service is impeccable. Highly recommend to anyone who loves burgers.

I’m currently eating this amazing burger. I got lucky the grill father was here in Hawley. I had to stop here before going back home to check it out. Let me tell ya no regrets! Fresh and amazingly well prepared burger. And the fries are to die for. The customer service is over the top! Can’t get that anywhere anymore.

Their crispy chicken sandwich has the perfect crunch and is seasoned beautifully. Small spot, but the quality is huge.
