Visited for my husband’s birthday and it was amazing. We both ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly, served with rice that tasted like a creamy risotto and delicious asparagus. Everything was so good!
The lake view makes the experience even better peaceful and beautiful. We loved it so much we came back a second time during our trip, even with a 45 minute drive. Totally worth it and highly recommend!

Ate here for the first time for an early Valentines dinner. Service was great. (Better than I expected being the night before Valentines and the place was packed.) I had the pork tenderloin medallions. Can’t brag enough about the place. Will definitely eat here again!!

We went for Thanksgiving. They had a set menu that day. I reluctantly started with a cosmopolitan. I say reluctantly because restaurant cosmos are either good or awful. This one was truly amazing! I wish everyone could make them like this! Wow!
I had the turkey/ham combo and my partner had the lamb. He raved that the lamb was great.
I wish I could say anything I had was just so-so, but honestly everything was excellent from the salad to the dessert.
You sure know when you dine here it’s all chef inspired.
The owners are also very hands on and delightful.

This restaurant is amazing! I come here once a week and every single time the food and service has been impeccable. I have Celiac disease and staff has always been extra cautious and accommodating with my allergy. They always go above and beyond. The owners are the kindest people and truly care about each customer. Great overall atmosphere.

Fabulous experience! Beautiful spot with scenic views of the lake. Our server, Jasmine, could not have been more charming.
Onion soup was delicious. Grilled walleye was delicious, as was the sea bass with citrus and capers.
German Chocolate Cake put the final topping on a fabulous meal.

So much more than we expected!! Love the food and the music was a special touch. Cabin was nice and clean very helpful and friendly staff. Food truck was delicious. Close to everything can’t wait to come back.

Whispering Woods used to be our go to restaurant. Ownership changed and we’d not been there since, had heard mixed but mostly down news so we went and saw for ourselves.
So 3 people, one ordered pan roasted airline chicken, one ordered Tuscan chicken and one the blackened grouper. The 2 chickens were identical and not really pan roasted. The only thing separating them was one has a sauce one did not. They tasted good – but same chicken. The Tuscan didn’t come OVER a bed of pasta – the pasta was on the side and thus the white cream sauce wasn’t on the pasta. There was some flavor to both the chickens and pastas but nothing special. Special sides of green beans and mashed potatoes and both were just meh in flavor. The bread was ok. The blackened grouper was dry, and just on the plate next to mashed potatoes. Side salad was very tasty though, a blueberry dressing on it, the soup of the day was pretty good too.
The server did a fine job. I liked the remodeling, the bar, the wine racks. The feel was still there but the food? IMO its went down, it didn’t have the higher quality cook/plating that $25-30 a plate places have or what the quality used to be IMO. Good food? Yes but nothing to separate it from 10 other places in Mtn Home. Used to be it was #1 and its just not now IMO.

Visiting my grandparents from outta town they said place is excellent they made reservations. It was delightful my girlfriend loved her meal and so did I! I had a sirloin steak and for dessert I have cookies with ice cream it comes heated on a skillet really delicious. Everyone in my party was satisfied the view was stunning by the way will definitely be back. Thank you
