I honestly can’t believe it has taken me this long to write a review for Joselito’s. I’ve been coming here since the 80s and while the restaurant has gone through different ownership over the years, the food right now is absolutely on point. This place is one of my favorite hidden gems.
Last night we sat indoors to escape the heat, and the atmosphere was inviting, lively, and comfortable. Joselito’s also has outdoor seating which makes it a great spot no matter the season.
We started with margaritas and they were so good we ordered two more to take home. I had the Cadillac and my friend had the jalapeño margarita. Both were perfectly balanced, refreshing, and poured with a generous hand.
The food was just as memorable. The jalapeño cheese spring rolls were incredible. I had never tried them before and they might be my new favorite appetizer. The sweet corn cakes were another standout, rich and flavorful, and we split a classic bean and cheese burrito that hit all the right notes of comfort food.
The staff was wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and always checking in at the right time.
If you are craving authentic and delicious Mexican food in Tujunga with great drinks, warm service, and a fun atmosphere, Joselito’s should be at the top of your list. After decades of visiting, it remains a favorite that just keeps getting better.

Joselito’s is always a dining pleasure. I really like to order off of the specialty menu. Last night I had the BBQ Carnitas Tacos and they were a taste sensation. Now it’s October, they’ll have the Pumpkin Enchiladas, that I’ve been waiting for again since last year. If it’s Taco Tuesday, be sure to try the Potato. Enjoy!

Nate, our waiter, was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making us feel comfortable on our first visit. He also served up some great drinks that we really enjoyed. The quality of the food and the portion sizes were excellent. Overall, a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I visited your establishment about three weeks ago with a friend. I had not initially planned to report this, but my husband encouraged me to reach out so that it can be addressed and hopefully prevent anyone else from having a similar experience.Our server that day was a young gentleman whose name I believe was Nathaniel or Nate. He had black hair in a ponytail and appeared to be the only server working at the time. Throughout our visit, he repeatedly referred to my friend and me as “babe” and “mama.” We found this language to be inappropriate and unprofessional. In addition, his behavior felt overly flirtatious, which made us quite uncomfortable during our meal. I wanted to bring this to your attention so that you are aware of how customers may be experiencing service. Unfortunately, because of this interaction, I do not plan on returning if this reflects the standard of service.

I had a great experience here — forgot the time change and showed up thirty minutes before opening. Jose let me into the patio area to wait, and fifteen minutes before opening, set me up with coffee and excellent chips and salsa. I got the sweet corn cakes (which would have been enough on their own) and a hard shelled taco and also an excellent eggs dish. the outdoor patio was so comfortable and pleasing, reminding me of Mexico. Superb service. It’s a great place to go, and it’s a good thing I got there early because it was packed by the time I left.

according to my friend council he goes here every week with his grandparents in tujunga and never stops talking about how delicious the food is. he’s been there but i haven’t been there yet I might go soon. I went to the Montrose location and it was okay but I cant wait to go to this location because I hear its way better
