Heard about this spot winning the Best Burgers in Georgia back in 2021, and we were feelin’ a good burger tonight. So, off to Hawkinsville we headed. Suffice to say, we learned why they earned this distinction…WOW, just wow! Its a quaint little shop with abot 10 tops, and old school decor, mine and my wife’s kind of place, for sure. Let me just say, I’m sorry I’m just now learning about this place, man have we been missing out. Ms. Kimberly was behind the grill tonight, and the burgers she was plating were awesome! I had the Full Monte (pic), and my dinner cohort opted for the Cowboy, Hot to Trot, and a basic cheeseburger, which were equally as good. Their fries are of the thin, fresh-cut variety and like the burgers, they make this place special. I’m upset I was too full to try one of the many desserts they offer, but that’s certainly the only thing troubling about our visit. Bottom line, it’s a small-town place, with big-time offerings…if you’re in the neighborhood, dont hesitate!

Best burger ever. Nobody does a better burger, but you better hope you get the right order to go because even if the mess up your order, you have to purchase the correct order again. One meal for one person can cost you double if you get it to go and they mess up. They will charge you all over again to get it right. Unfortunate,I haven’t been back. Came here on a road trip to South GA. Great food! The Burgers were very soft and fresh. The fries were also really good. The only complaint I have is they have a lunch special, but no burgers on it. It’s kind of strange since it brags about it’s burger. Great food and worth the stop.

This is a great little place in the middle of no where! The owners and staff are so nice and welcoming! I had a cheeseburger and my daughter had the BLT, both were delicious!!! I’m very picky about my sweet tea and they are such good sweet tea. Will definitely be visiting again soon to try the breakfast menu!!

The alpha dog. This was quite possibly the best hot dog I have ever had in my life. This is one of those small locally owned restaurants that can be found along the Georgia adventure trail. It is a must stop for lunch and I could say you’re guaranteed to enjoy your food. The servers were extremely friendly and the sweet tea never stopped coming. Storybook good! This place is like going back in time. It’s small, pleasant and they serve simple, delicious hot food! The burgers are fantastic. The hotdogs have great toppings and the fries are perfect. The staff is very friendly and this restaurant is in the middle of main street, small town America. I loved it. Stay away from chain restaurants, this is how eating is done right!
