The Green Stinger is more than just a sports bar and grill, we are family. We pride ourselves in being a local hangout for all ages, serving great food and drinks in an up-beat, laid-back atmosphere driven by the excitement and harmony of sports and music. The Green Stinger has been a community hangout since 2009. The ownership prides themselves on customer loyalty and sincerely providing a fun, and community-centric atmosphere. With roots in Woodside, we’ve expanded our journey to our new location in Felton, DE with a remodeled facility and outdoor area for entertainment, games, and family fun, the Stinger Backyard. Best Sports Bar in Kent County, Delaware hands down! Best Buffalo wings around sauce is made fresh from scratch! Just ask for the wings to be made extra crispy! Big Mac Tacos are very good! Cheese sticks are good. 1/2 price on apps on Mondays, Tuesday are wings special, Wednesday are taco special! Can’t find better food at a sports bar in Kent county! Brunch on Sunday’s starting at 10am pre game NFL with breakfast and a Bloody Mary bar! FYI sit at the bar for the best service!

Food is AMAZING! I absolutely love their stuffed burgers! I always get the bacon and cheese, my son gets the crabby burger (he has stated several times he has never had a burger that good). Their fries are super super crunchy, potato skins are cooked perfectly, all their appetizers are delicious. Depending on the time of day it’s typically older folks, Friday and Saturday nights around 8-10 a younger generation comes in. They have a live Dj, great drink specials. The only complaint I have is every time I’ve gone there, it’s taken hours. And it’s not because the food is slow…. The waitresses all have their regulars which they all joke and carry on with (which is great) but when I was there a few days ago, it took 45 mins after she cleared the table of all the plates before we got the check. No drink. No food. Just sat there and waited. It was also kinda busy but I can tell you the regulars in front of me had several drinks delivered to them during that time frame. Other than that….. amazing food. Good atmosphere depending on the day and time. Would absolutely recommend

We were down in the area for the weekend. After reading the mixed reviews we decided we were going to go there for dinner Friday night. The place definitely has a bit more of a bar vibe (for those who felt it was too load or not cozy enough) which was fine with us. They have several big tvs to watch the game and a jukebox that you can play music on. The drinks were good and the food was great! The service on drinks moves right along and the food service wasn’t super slow (or super fast). We ended up sitting next too some locals at the bar and over all had a great night. So much so we came back for brunch on Sunday which was just as amazing.
For those who have called it for take out orders, I will say, they don’t have a lot of staff from what I saw either day. The staff they had there was always on the move. So maybe some of the shenanigans you heard could have been from people sitting around the bar as it looked to be the bartender answering the phones while doing other task.
I did learn it’s a family owned place and I love supporting family owned businesses. So next time we are down that way, we will be stopping back in!

Food is AMAZING!! Have tried a lot of things off of their menu and it never disappoints. The stinger is a great place to just sit at the bar or bring the whole family and enjoy time together. Autumn is a bartender there and she is one in a million, she’s always one step ahead with her customers needs. Give this place a try!! You won’t regret it.

The Green Stinger is a great bar/restaurant and has been one of my go-to places for about a year. The stuffed burgers are amazing and even customizable if you want. I’m glad they moved to this new location because it definitely heightened the atmosphere for them. With the option of sitting outside and still getting your drinks from the bar there is awesome. They also have amazing live bands that play there along with a DJ for the outside bar during the weekends in the summer. All in all it’s a great place to have a drink and some good food.

The female Mexican bartender with her star tattoo showing across her check, refused to serve me a beer after I tipped her 4 dollars the last time I paid. Said it was “up to her discretion” when I had only purchased one beer? She told me to find another server. I have never seen this before in my life. Talk about entitlement. She is way too comfortable and the first time I order I waited over ten minutes for her to serve me. Terrible service and will never be back.
