I drove up to Haulover beach and wanted to grab a bite before driving home. Since this is an Orthodox Jewish community many places were closed for the Sabbath- like The Carrot. So be aware for a Saturday.
We sat outside.
We ordered the falafel appetizer. Surprisingly enough, the do NOT have tahini! They served the falafel (which I’ve never seen made in this shape) with Tzakis sauce. It was good.
We also had a large side of hummus. I’d hate to see what the small side of hummus is! It was good- a little more chunky than I’m used to. We also had an order of the gyro. It came with a side of Tzakis and a salad. The Tzakis sauce was weird. It had a pink color to it, like they’d added something like paprika. But then it also has a slight sweet taste to it. Not really my thing.
Service was ok. We had to go in to ask for boxes and the check.
Lunch was a bit expensive. I LOVE Greek food, so I might go back. But if there’s other options, I wouldn’t bother.

Tasty. I take salad with grilled shrimp . It was really good but I had to ask a glass of water and some bread because they don’t bring it for me ♀️ BUT I would tell that waitress … she is very nice and friendly

My food took forever and I missed my window to go to the beach before my flight. The beef was pink inside and I paid 19$ for the steak wrap and it was fatty and not very good cut. Not the best Greek food I have ever had. Friendly staff.

I came here before going to the beach and this place was delicious! I typically do not eat lamb but the way they make it here definitely convinced me. I had the chicken platter with fries that had a special seasoning (“Greek Style”); the fries were crispy golden and everything was fresh. The outdoor seating is very pleasant where you can enjoy the breezy atmosphere.

Food is pretty good but they are so dirty. The lady behind the grill is literally touching her hair and nose and then touching the food.. she doesn’t have any gloves on . I filed a complaint to the health department. It’s a serious issue. I threw out the food when I saw that. It’s a health risk and they should know better

The food is relatively good but the service is unfriendly and unconsidered. They smile but you feel is not an authentic gesture. If you are looking for good food and nice people (the whole enchilada) this is NOT your place. If you don’t care about people treat you as long food is good this may be your kind of place.
