I ordered gyros plate. Consisted of gyros meat, pita bread, tzatziki, Greek salad and fries. Overall good meal. Meat was delicious and tzatziki had a great consistency and flavor. The Greek salad was to me exceptionally good. The ingredients were fresh and the lettuce a nice dark green and crispy. The French fries were, however, stone cold. They were flavorful but nothing beyond room temperature. The overall experience was good. My one suggestion would be more mindful of food temps. The gyros meat was also just barely warm. I am mindful that today is opening day so I will come back in a few weeks and try again to see how things have progressed.

I ordered the falafel pita and it was okay. You may see from the photo that the pita bread was breaking apart upon arrival because they didn’t soften it up enough my warming it up enough. $15 for a meal that wasn’t even filling does not seem worth it to me. For my taste the tomato was too soft, I don’t like it old. I added some Tapatío because it needed a little something for a more exotic taste. I wouldn’t order again, I rather get a burger or tacos for the same price.

I definitely recommend trying on the Greek fast food restaurant the environment is great and food is amazing the staff was very nice and professional I usually don’t try new foods but I was recommended to come here and I actually ended up loving it I’m gonna be back for more. In the picture below I tried the salad with salmon and gyro sandwich with feta fries.

I went there today for the first time thinking this would be a great place to try. I waited almost 30 minutes for my order. The diet Pepsi was broken so all I could get was crushed iced. When I got home to have the Athenian burger which I ordered medium, it was tough as a rock and extremely hard to cut. I thought I was going to choke even on cutting it into smaller pieces. I spent almost $40 on two items and will not go back. While I was waiting on my order someone came in and told the person at the counter that the food he had was awful, I should have taken it as a sign. I still have the gyro to try but I still won’t be back. Even the sauce they gave me was about a teaspoon. So so disappointing. I’ll stick with Greek Chicken…

Great food, great service, decent price! We enjoy picking up dinner from The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill! Some of our favorites are the Athenian Burger with French fries and the Great Greek Gyro with chicken …..with a side of hummus! Definitely a nice recommendation for when you want to pick up dinner ️ for a nice date night in

I do not understand how this place gets 4.8 stars.. I ordered the traditional Avgolemono Soup with salad and falafel and I couldn’t even finish it.
The soup looks and tastes like a murky Campbells chicken noodle soup with plastic chicken and absolutely zero lemon taste.
This tasted like a microwaved 99 cent soup can. Do not waste your money here. I think a soup kitchen would have better soup.
The falafels were flat and processed with little taste and no crisp at all.
Do not waste your time on this fake/cheap Greek food. Pass.

I had lunch at this newly opened Greek eater in Santee, California. I order the chicken gryro Pita sandwich. I was surprised it came with grilled chicken breast.
The pita sandwich was very good. The chicken was tender and well seasoned with a very good flavor. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I really liked the tzatziki sauce. It was very well made with a creamy texture and great flavor. The addition of the feta cheese was a huge plus, too. I liked the pita bread they used, but although it was soft, they forgot to heat it up on the hot griddle, so it was cold. It was missing those nice crispy edges and warm soft center.
The service was very good.The young lady at the counter was in good spirits and offered good friendly service. This was there first day. I was expecting more of a celebration. Some balloons outside would of been nice and perhaps some samples of their offering to entice future customers.

Way better than I expected and way better than Greek Chicken. First off, the menu boasts automatic dishes with tons of flavor. I got the great Greek bowl with chicken and WOW, flavor profiles like crazy. My dinner companion got the gyros plate with the feta fries, yum!!! And the gyro was super delicious. I got the a lemon soup to go. I’m excited to taste that as well. I highly recommend trying. Cost seems high, but the portions are comparable to the cost.
