Thankfully after too long, GAB has returned to the Region. Good folks, good eats, and a pleasant atmosphere. Take a friend, get a sandwich and drink and relax. If you bring your dog they have a water bowl outside for them. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the community board.

Ordered 6 bagels and 2 pumpkin lattes, super good The bagel was so soft and choosing our cream cheese flavor was the best part! Lots of space to come and sit with your friends and family! For dure coming back to try more items from the menu 🙂 Owner came out to thank us for visiting!

The location is perfect for the surrounding neighborhood! The food was on point! The service was wonderful. Plenty of options on the menu and coffee was very good. Great smiles from the staff carries a long way for a proper greeting.

I was greeted by both owners with courtesy & kindness. They answered all of my questions & my bagel sandwich was the bomb!
I highly recommend this bagel shop & they also own the one at RSW/ SW International Airport in Ft. Myer’s!

The bagels are so delicious, I love the chocolate chip bagels and the cinnamon as well. Their variety of cream cheese is awesome! Great service is definitely a major plus and prices are reasonable.

Went early and ordered two breakfast sandwiches. Both came out perfect and delicious.
We also ordered 6 bagels to go with two sides of cream cheese. All of the bagels were good. The jalapeño cheddar cream cheese was the one my wife liked. Neither of us liked the veggie cream cheese. Just not to our taste.
We would still give it five stars. It’s worth a try for sure. We’ll be back.

This place was a huge letdown, unfortunately. Typical, overpriced, highly processed, low-quality tasting American fare. The only upside was that the staff was nice.
Barely any actually turkey on my panini. Had to actually look for the cheese on it as well. Mostly a sandwich of overcooked bacon. Smh.
And the breakfast sandwich…cheap tasting. Like, a frozen-microwaveable patty. And bagel was HARD and not fresh at all. Made it hard to enjoy, as you’re about to break your teeth.
And that strawberry “smoothie” was horrible. Sorry. It tasted milk-based, like a milkshake! Not a fruit-based smoothie. Almost made me sick. That wasn’t what I was looking for.
Also, there’s so much construction in that lot that it was confusing as to whether I could enter that plaza or not. So confusing that I actually had to pass it up, and use a nearby neighborhood subdivision to work my way back to the plaza.
Unnecessarily expensive for the quality of what I received. $29 down the drain.
Not feeling this place overall. Came from across the state border for it. Never again.

This is my first time visiting any Great American Bagel. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the establishment looked very clean and the food was delicious. my daughter loved the pizza bagel, the coffee with sugar free vanilla was excellent and my wife loved the hot chocolate.

I love this place and their bagels! Ive been getting bagels here with my family since I was younger out in University Park. Now that they are here in Indiana im all for it! Great people and food. If this is your first time here, I recommend 2 pepperoni tomazzo bagels toasted with no cream cheese or anything else on them.
Give this place a chance if your looking for a satisfactory breakfast/lunch!!

Haven’t been since the one closed in Merrillville! It was just as I remembered it from years ago! So glad they are in the area again. It’s a little far from me, but totally worth the drive.
