We tried their breakfast and were happy to see that they had a New England classic… red flannel hash (delicious)! Their fruit is delicious and fresh, a tasy addition for a slight upcharge if you are substituting a side.

(Bar area, downstairs) Service was slow and unapologetic. We waited over 30 minutes just to place our food order, with no acknowledgment or explanation.
Food was a major disappointment. I ordered the pretzel “bites” (see photo), and what came out was clearly a single full pretzel, not bites—burnt to a crisp, extremely hard, and completely inedible.
Drinks didn’t fare much better. The keg kicked after the first round on a Friday night. While that can happen, having no replacement available on your busiest night of the week is a bad look.
Atmosphere was okay. There was live music, which was fine and probably the highlight of the visit—but it wasn’t enough to make up for the poor service and food.
Overall, not a place I’d return to or recommend.

Stopped at The Grateful Skier today for brunch on our way to Canada. We were seated immediately by our friendly server who also helped us choose some favorites from the delicious choices on the menu. I had the eggs over easy with a side of baked beans. I have never seen this as a brunch option and love that they offer it. They were the absolute best baked beans I have ever eaten! I also loved the decor. Not the usual rustic style found in mountain towns which was refreshing. It also has fun and tasteful Grateful Dead bear decals on the wall that I had only noticed when we were leaving. Definitely check this place out before the winter rush!

We had an amazing meal at the Grateful Skier. The service was amazing too – my son is picky and they accommodated his requests.

Eric, Elizabeth and team…you should be so proud of what you have accomplished so far…so much work, thought and care to create a welcoming unique enjoyable engaging distinct venue that draws locals/visitors/ seasonals of all ages for tunes/bevies/bites/community…we visited as a mom w/4 teenagers – we had nachos, burgers, pulled pork, delicious ‘friend of the devil’ cocktail…service was great, seated at the high-top in bar area as dining area was full…Amy was a great server, we had a blast time playing cards from the game supply after dinner while enjoying open mic tunes…the attention to detail that showcases Eric’s love of the Grateful Dead and skiing is tastefully and stylishly woven throughout the entire space, from the moment you see the dancing bears on the glass, to the incredible host-stand to the merch, menu, bar graphics, posters …plus the acoustics are FANTASTIC! We’ll be back!

Just got into town. Found the reviews on the grateful skier by out of five stars and I agree. The entire staff made us feel so welcome. A shout out to Amber. Really connected. Spent a lot of time with us answering all our questions very patiently

Stopped by for some drinks before lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very nice and helpful, and knew of all the events happening in the area. The music, decorations, and merch are pretty cool too! Definitely want to stop by for a show on the weekend.

So my wife and I stopped here on a whim. Let’s say it was our fortunate situation. You do not expect great BBQ in NH but we were very happy we did. Start out our server Brooke was fantastic the manager Jen terrific Thank you Ladies for a wonderful meal experience. We were told Mary is a Texas/Oklahoma native who relocated to NH.

From the start drinks were plentiful our appetizers of burnt ends and a sampler were large enough for 4 people to share and it was only the two of us. Our meals of pulled pork on Texas toast and the Oklahoma smash burger perfectly done the sides were what I expected as if we were in Texas excellent as well. We were told they have only been open for four months. So with the busy season in front of them give this place a try you will not be disappointed. Also make sure you try the house sauce its a pleasant surprise as well.

We had a great experience at this new restaurant/bar. There were 6 in our party and we were in the middle of an overnight running relay race from Lancaster to Hampton Beach. The owner was on site and extremely helpful, friendly and enthusiastic about the operation. The staff were friendly and attentive before we sat down, during the meal and after we finished. The food was excellent and delivered quickly to our table. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful views of the mountains and listen to the timeless sounds of the Grateful Dead. I would highly recommend Grateful Skier, whether your looking for a good meal or just want to have a drink with friends and family. Don’t forget to ask about the MERCH! Very cool!!!

Wow – this place is fantastic! We had breakfast here and really enjoyed our omelettes. I had ham and veggies with hashbrowns and toast. The omelette flavor was outstanding!
