The Grape Vines Wine Bar and Venue . . . “Where Wine and People Meet” . . . evolved from a love of wine, great conversation, and bringing people together. It is located on 6.5 acres of open, wooded, and spacious land for relaxation and enjoyment. The property was formerly a historic veterinary clinic that was operational for 57 years and served the needs of many animals in the community. It has now been transformed into the charming, tranquil place that it is today. During the restoration of the building, many of the original features and characteristics were maintained and enhanced to lend to the experience when you arrive at the front entrance.

My son and his wife had their wedding reception here last year. It was perfect!! They chose the downstairs venue for its wine bar vibes and access to a private patio. Hannah was super responsive and easy to work with. We brought our own food, so I can’t comment on that, but they allowed us several hours to set up without the tight time frame most venues require. A band was playing outside and our guest enjoyed the music. After the band, the kids had a bonfire and danced to their chosen music under a beautiful tree on the grounds. With the patio doors open, the downstairs held about 30 people comfortably. Highly recommended venue for medium to small groups!

We happened upon this wine bar at the end of a long day, and it was the perfect stop. The food and drinks were very good and at a great price. The service was excellent and very accommodating in every way. Most notably was the care and attention they gave to our two golden retrievers. They brought the pups water, treats, and made us feel very at home with our dogs. It could not have been a better experience. We highly recommend you spend some time at the Grape Vines Wine Bar if you are near Williamstown, KY.

The lower level is nice and private. They have decent wines and an inexpensive charcuterie with a gluten free option. Today there was a strong scent of cleaning fluid near the bathrooms which was off putting but we very much enjoyed our visit! We will come back.

This is a beautiful and tasteful winery in an unforgettable space! My husband and I met the General Manager, Hannah, who is responsible for choosing the drinks served in all of the flights. There are beer, wine, tequila and bourbon flight options.
We tried the Silver Tequila flight as well as the Gold Bourbon. We purchased a few of our favorites to take home.
I will also mention that my husband and I are vegan. Hannah keeps avocado spread and/or hummus in stock along with some dark chocolates. This came in handy as we hadn’t planned this visit so we had not eaten much of anything in advance.
We were thrilled with our visit and definitely plan a return!

Amazing atmosphere. The wine was incredible and the live music was an unexpected treat! Service was fast and friendly. This place is definitely up and coming and provides a great selection of wines, tequila and snacks for just opening. Definitely worth your time to check it out

We were visiting the Ark Encounter with grandpa and grandma and our kids and it was our 20th Anniversary. We were looking for a special place to celebrate, just the two of us, and we happened to find this hidden gem through a sign on the highway. We were a little skeptical, but it was the absolute best and most perfect spot to celebrate a milestone anniversary that we will always remember! Wonderful wine and outstanding bourbon! Awesome cheese and fantastic sausage! And the very best part, the server gladly surprised my wife with the song we had our first dance to! An absolute classy place, perfect atmosphere, beautiful bourbon and wonderful wine. The countryside was beautiful too, and we loved the old barn and tractor. The rooster serenading us and the chandelier hanging from the locust tree were just icing on the cake! Everything was absolutely perfect! Thank you so much!

Our first trip to The Grape Vines Wine Bar was amazing! Ainsley was our go-to-girl for information and she was super helpful, from bringing drinks down to our campfire, or sharing her wisdom of Tequila and/or Wine. Marty was helpful for getting our fire going and they have multiple fire pits for people to gather around.
I did a Tequila tasting/flight and the wife did the wine flight. They have a basic charcuterie offering you can take down to the fire and even S’mores.
The mood and ambiance was amazing for a fall day and I am seriously considering the membership but only if it offered a little more. Either way, we will be back for sure!
